"BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, this company also goes by Advanced Vision on pricewatch. By orders of magnitude, the worst company I've ever dealt with. Charged my credit card right away, shipped the computer weeks after they said they would (recieved computer 6 weeks after my credit card was charged). Impossible to contact, don't answer phones or respond to emails. The hard drive failed after a couple weeks, after lying to me day after day, "we're testing new Maxtor hard drives", they sent me a used Quantum fireball (after 3 weeks, they initially said 3-4 days)- this drive isn't even available any more. I'm not the only person, read the other posts, everyone has the same problem, avoid this company at all costs."

"I order a soundcard on saturday, they charged me that following monday, I tried calling multiple times, leaving multiple messages, and emails, nothing. Finally I get a hold of them and they tell me it is out of stock!? Makes me wonder why they even charged my card. He said the lady who normally does the refunds isnt in today, would be processed tomorrow, doubt I'll get the money, do NOT buy from these people..... christ."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEY ALSO GO BY ADVANCED VISION

I purchased a PC (AMD Athlon 1600 XP, it was a good price, $346 w/shipping). It took over 2 weeks to arrive. The hardrive was loose, the fan was thrown into the case because the idiot that put it together didn't have the foresight to use long enough wires. I guess throwing it in was easier. Then nothing would install without it crashing. Blue screens, illegal operations, wouldn't boot. Put on eternal hold when I called them until I called one day and the first thing I yelled was "DON'T PUT ME ON HOLD!" Then I was issued an RA by a woman that had all the personality of a dead fish. Am I crazy to assume that I would not have to pay shipping for their defective merchandise? WRONG! I got slapped with the Airborne bill to boot as the company had not determined the merch to be "defective". They are shysters and swindlers and they have no right to be in business. I will also be contacting the BBB in their area.

"These guys are so crooked they have to screw their socks on. Their web site comes and goes but they don't respond to E-Mail.



They are now defunct. Their website has evaporated and they are now operating upstairs over a vacant lot. If you don't have your order by now you never will.



Update: I am now convinced they have taken the money and run. There is no way to contact them. Their E-Mail is refused by Yahoo and they don't answer the phone. They don't respond to messages.


These guys have all the earmarks of a very marginal company that is on the ropes. It would appear that they are beyond contact. They don't answer the phone anymore and their Yahoo mailbox(itself a bad sign) is overflowing like a plugged toilet. I would bet that they are now little more than a Ponzi scheme requiring that they take the money from current orders not filled, to purchase stock to fill the overdue ones. As in all such cases, whether or not you get your merchandise is the luck of the draw. It looks like I'll be putting the charges on my credit card in contest. I had good luck with my orders in the past but it looks like the odds finally caught up with me.

"I was unable to contact this company at all, I ordered my part on 3-29 and recieved an email that same day stating my credit card billing information was incorrect. I called the company and left a message to return my call, they did not. I emailed a response to thier email and canceled the order (I stated that I was unable to contact them and wanted to cancel my order). On 4-7 I recieved my bank statement and had a charge for the amount I had purchased from edot billed from Advanced Visio. I called the issuer of my bank card and they listed the phone number of the vendor (edot\visio) as ***-***-****. That number had been disconnected. I do not know if this company is involved directly in fraud, but I am unwilling to do business with anyone who can't keep thier phone turned on. I now have to dispute the charge on my bankcard, I was charged an overdraft fee because I had to replace the part they did not ship me locally, and did not expect to be billed for an incomplete transaction. I would recommend staying away from this company as they appear to be a front for another, possibly disreputable, company. I am terribly sorry that I tried to do business with them and hope that I can resolve the charges they posted against my account. "

"This order was placed on the 10th of feb. I received an automatically generated email detailing the order. This email had a link to my order status, which said nothing about shipping status (I selected ground shipping). My credit card was charged, however. After periodically checking this site for updates for 2 weeks, and not seeing any, I decided to send them an email inquiring as to the status of my order. The email address I sent my message to was listed at their website. I received no response. I initially checked the company out at the old resellerratings.com, and they were new, only a couple of ratings, not terribly bad ones. After my attempts at emailing them, i checked again, and found a rating from a customer of theirs who noted the company is what used to be advanced vision. I found a phone number for this company, and it was out of service. Eventually I decided to have the charge reversed by my credit card company, and emailed edotdirect about this intention. The next day, I received my order. It had been overnighted. This was on the 6th of march. Still with no contact from the company. The order I received was in good shape, and works fine, however, with this kind of service, I will not do business with them again. I recommend you stay away as well. "
