"hemidemiThe T.V. is great, but NEVER buy from Ed Nash World from New Jersey. It took 2 months for my T.V. to arrive. They told me week after week that it would be here Friday. When the "last" Friday came, they said "sorry". That night I checked their website, and it had this very T.V. on sale, with the caption "in stock now". When I called Monday morning to ask them why they are lying to me, they said "tonight". I then said "I have waited 2 months - I deserve the next model up". The man said "if it doesn't come tonight, I will send you the next highest model". JUST BY COINCIDENCE, it "came" that night. I received it a week later, nearly 2 months after placing my order. I have never seen such dishonest people!"

"Worst company ever...

Buyers beware....

Really disappointed after purchasing a Samsung PN-50C8000. False advertisement, I received a REFURBISHED unit instead of a NEW unit. TV was out of it's original box and packaging. Warranty documents were missing along with TV accessories and the Remote was scuffed up. (Obvious sines of USED). I was also promised a surge protector and HDMI cable bundle set in which I never received and still fighting the company over it. Shipping department hiked up the price to an additional $77.00 for a "mandatory insure" which was completely bogus. Future costumers learn from my experience and pay the extra money and buy it elsewhere because the CRAP you will receive is NOT worth it.

"My delivery seemed unusual because it was missing batteries and was not packaged as expected. I went on the internet to contact this company and became very concerned due to these review. I had impulsively made this order without researching the company. But, I hooked up the Samsung 3D TV and love it! I don't know if I would give this company a good rating but the cost and product I recieved is excellent. I do have complaints about the web sight for Samsung. It's service sight sucks. Fortunatly I don't need their help. "

"The worst business I have ever used. Better Business Biuro is rating Ednashworld with "F" in scale A-F.
They send me a damaged TV and never replaced broken parts or replace for new one or refund me. After 6 months phone conversations and promises, finally I raported this business to the BBB.
Raported to the Federal Trade Commission, FBI and I am going to file a complain for criminal investigation to my local Police as one of the victims sugested.Someone has to stop them.

"Scammers. After placing order for a large LCD tv I got an email to call back to "Verify, preventing fraud". During the call, besides the push for extras, they jacked up the price by $200 for "shipping insurance". 3 weeks later the order still hadn't shipped. I called 3 times during this interval and each time I was told it would ship "early next week"."

"I ordered samsung LN46C650 from Ed Nash World after I personally asked the sales person, Bresten, if it is brand new and he said yes. Initially he offered to sell to me Samsung LN46B650 with free blu ray player, if said no and insisted on my original order. Guess what, when the order arrived it was old, used Samsung LN46C670 with scratches all over, not in the original box, already set-up. I called ENW and talked to Henry and he said thay gave me upgrade for free. I told him that I do not want the TV and need my money back, he offered to give me $200.00 back if I will keep the TV and I said no. Henry said that AMtrucking will contact me in 1-2 days to arrange to come and pick-up the TV but that I will pay for the shipping cost. I have contacted Elizabeth, New Jersey police department and I was told to contact my local police department and file a claim with the criminal investigation department, then they will turn over my claim to New Jersey police department, criminal investigation unit so that they can go to ED Nash World office at 515 Dowd Ave. Elizabeth, New Jersey, 07201 and investigate this case.I will do that as soon as I get home from work today. This fraud by Ed Nash world has been going on for too long based on what I am now reading on the review and need to be stopped for good."

"Watch for the scam at the end of your purchase - they tried to charge me 8% for "shipping insurance". It will be added to your purchase AFTER you place your order. "

"Would definitely NOT use this company again. Billed amount was different from total price on purchase confirmation site, due to "mandatory" insurance fee, that was not mentioned on site beforehand.

Item (Samsung pn50c7000) arrived in large non-retail box, already on stand !! Package with manual had been opened and resealed, and had parts-including warranty card- missing. When I called to complain, they said that it was sent this way to "prevent damage" and that it had been "opened to be tested". I was assured that it was a new product. However, when I called Samsung with the serial number, I was told that it was a refurbished unit.

These people are flat out liars. They provide misleading information both on their website, and over the phone.

I called to tell them that it needed to be returned and my credit card refunded. They offered to do that, but then said if I keep the one I had, they would give me a free two year warranty. Turns out the warranty company is owned by the same company that sold me the TV, and it's ratings are just as poor.

Buyer beware ! I guess if you purchase online a lot, you are bound to get scammed, it's just a matter of time.

"I bought a TV from EdNashWorld.

After I put in the order on-line, I was asked to call them to confirm the order. Then I was told that I needed to pay 8% extra for insurance. This was NEVER mentioned in the order summary email. This was really a kind of false advertising.

I made a mistake by going ahead with them even with the 8% extra charge. When I go the TV, I found that it was NOT new as they have advertised on-line, or as they have promised over the phone. It was clearly refurbished. The box has been opened before. Some parts were missing. There was a dent on the TV frame. This clearly amounted to deceptive selling.

If I were to return the TV, I would have to pay for all the shipping, and I would loose the 8% insurance as well. I'm very upset.

"I ordered a TV from this store and they said it was new. I set it up and within 2 days it had a 4" wide vertical line running down the left side of the screen. After weeks of trying to get ahold of them I finally got a return authorization in May. They recieved the TV and I still have not gotten my money back (10-20-10). I am taking them to small claims court and have turned them in to the BBB, Attorney General and Consumer Protection Agency. I would NEVER buy from them they are dishonest and will lie to you on the phone if you can even get them to answer."

"I purchased a 55 inch Samsung tv from Ed Nash World. After reading many negative reviews, I called them to ask if the tv was new and not refurbished. They insisted it was new. The tv was at least $300 less then any other site. The tv arrived 5 days after I confirmed the order. It was new and in perfect condition. The only negative is the 8% "delivery insurance" fee they make you pay. I was satisfied that I received a good price for a new tv."

"On 8/1/2010 we ordered a 52" Sharp LCD Flatscreen and paid for it with a credit card. After going a few things and speaking with someone from ENW, the guy sold me on the same TV only it is supposedly only last years model. At this point I'm not even sure. I specifically asked the guy if this TV was a re-furbished, I didn't want re-furbished because I'm sick of stuff that works until the freakin warranty is up. Anyway, the first TV delivered was broken and damaged UNDER the thick foam in which it was packed (thus, NOT the delivery company's fault) it was packed and sent to us that way. We of course refused the TV. Another 2 or so weeks go by after phone calls and frustration. Finally a TV arrives and it's not damaged, OH that is until we plug the damn thing in. It had a thick pixel line right down the side of it. We immediately call ENW and then find out the TV IS considered re-furbished. Their definition is that it was taken out of the package and plugged in, NOT that something was wrong with it. Hmmmmmm I was furious! I specifically asked about that and was lied to. Oh, and don't bother calling on the weekends, they're closed. So, now we have to deal directly with Sharp. I had to take pictures of the TV showing the pixel line, up close from far away and making sure the SHARP logo can be seen and showing that there is no drop damage (to prove WE didn't do it) then I had to download and e-mail the pictures and then we got to wait some more. We decided to keep the deal, ENW did give us $150.00 back and Sharp gave us a whopping 6 month warranty...They will hate me if this TV gives out in 6 months. I promise that! OH and I can not to mention the insurance they charge for delivery..It's mandatory (?) Hmmmm I think it was $77 plus $100 or so for delivery. I didn't like being forced into that, but I went with it because I still thought I was getting a good price for the TV. It is now 10/7th and today we FINALLY received a TV in good shape and in good working order. I'm happy with the TV, but I really don't know if it was worth all the hassle and the making sure someone was home for delivery. The biggest problem I have with the whole thing is that you are not being told that this is a re-furbished TV. I think that's just wrong. So all in all I will not give Ed Nash World a good rating and I highly doubt if we will ever repeat any business with them and we are planning to buy 3 more smaller flat screens in the future. So, if you're going to buy be prepared. You are most likely getting a re-furbished TV and they will force you pay the insurance. "

"This is a total SCAM! Just bought a Samsung LED from ednashworld.com with a 5 year extended warranty. When the product arrived there was no doubt this was an old product. All the controls were dinged scratched and the main control was also dirty!!! The whole TV border and frame has a very undesirable scratch like if someone tried to clean it with sandpaper. Not even mentioning the multiple fingerprints that ed nash employees left on the screen of this TV, I will not be surpised if they hit a match at the FBI fingerprint bank... The Bottom left corner has a 1cm dirt of what appears to be MOLD inside the plastic linning, making it impossible to clean! On top of this there are multiple 1-3mm dings over the surface and corners.

Now lets get into the real deal... this LED set up system was last updated on 1/31/2009!!! this LED is almost 2 years old!!! it was sold to me as NEW.

The five year extended warranty that I painfully paid $219.00, is nowhere to be seen in the package, this was promised to me by them to be included there.

PLEASE, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMERS, I AM DEEP CLEANING THIS GARBAGGE AND PUTTING IT ON MY GUEST RESTROOM SO IT HELPS MY BM'S. I AM DEAD SERIOUS, IF SOMEONE IS INTERESTED IN TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS LOW LIFES CONTACT ME. WILL GET THEM DOWN GOOOD!

"Ednashworld.com has the most unethical and most dishonest business practices that I have seen in years. I know firsthand, I recently fell victim to their blatant disregard for what is right and legal. I purchased a new TV from them a few weeks ago. To my surprise, the TV was used, damaged and arrived in a box that even the manufacturer’s website said was the wrong dimensions. When confronted with photos and proof that this wasn’t new, they brushed me off and told me it wouldn’t be worth my trouble since I lived in California. In short, they refused me a refund on something that was obviously without a doubt used and damaged! I did some research and found that countless people around the country are falling victim to ednashworld.com’s low-price lure on price comparison websites. There are countless complaint sites, blogs, and comments all over the web with the same experience. Ed Nash World has been successful at this fraud by not stating that any product on their website is “new”; but then the word “used” is also never used. They use this ambiguity to deceive their customers into thinking that they’ll receive a new product but get a used one, or none at all. It is unfortunate that New Jersey’s reputation is being tarnished by a company that has gone unchecked and unexposed for too long. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey and am working with the credit card company to see if I can recover the cost of this TV.

NOTE**
Their website states that TVs and other products are ineligible for credit, return or exchange. IN OTHER WORDS, IF THEY KNOWINGLY SEND YOU A USED, DAMAGED, OR BROKEN ITEM, YOU'RE STUCK! YOU CAN'T EVEN RETURN IT! They've basically absolved themselves from any liability by putting this on their site.

"Do not buy from Ed Nash World! I wish I would have found this site before purchasing a $109 TV mount. Long story short -- they asked me to call in, which I did, and they talked me into a different mount which was supposed to be easier to install. They'd even knock $30 off the $139 price to match the price of the original mount. Great, so the mount arrives and it turns out to be a completely different brand/model than the one on the website, readily available at Amazon for $45. So they sold me a $45 mount for $109, and when I wrote them to complain, they offered to 'split the difference.' This is the classic bait-and-switch. Beware of Ed Nash World!"
