Communication about the back order would have been nice, but at least it worked out in the end."

"I can't believe how amazingly fast my order was shipped! I received an email that it went out a couple hours after I ordered it. Ad even with the free shipping, I received it in 2 days!!! I'm going on vacation and I was worried but it was definitely not necessary to pay for expedited shipping. I'm sure that the camera I ordered was billed as new, but the packaging I got made me think it's refurbished. But it's all shiny and not a scratch. Everything is there...except for the SD card. Got two email messages saying they received the order and were working on processing it, but specifically stated that it would take them maximum 3 days to do so. I thought I would wait. More than a week later, no response from eMicrox about if my order has been shipped out or not, and was wondering what was taking so long for sending something that was marked "In Stock" on their website. Eventually canceled my order, and luckily my credit card was not charged."

"As another reviewer noted, the camera I ordered was not actually in stock, but I was not notified. I discovered this when I went to the website to track my order and it did not show up at all. Once I emailed them inquiring, I received a quick response that shipment had come in that day, but the color I ordered was not included and they had no guaranteed delivery date for it. I was given choice to accept a different color or cancel order and given this was a gift and other items had already been delivered to recipient, I chose another color. Had it been an unacceptable color, it would have created an embarrassing situation. They did immediately ship out my choice which arrived in good condition 5 days later (due to weekend). They definitely offer exceptional prices and what appears to be excellent return policies, etc. and I would only suggest that they advise of items not in stock/back-ordered. "I was tempted by the low price on their website, so I bought the Canon s90 digital camera that the Emicrox website said was new; however, I realized later when I received it that it was refurbished. Luckily, I was able to get a refund for the product but had to pay to get it shipped back.
I left a negative feedback here; and having later discovered my discontent, EmicroX emailed me to let me know that they cancelled the vendor from which they bought the product. They also offered to give free accessories + $10 off if I tried them again with the same product (this time it will be new). I opted out of it because I was skeptical.
They ended up emailing me twice about what they would do to compensate (they offered to send me a $20 check) to change my review about them on this site, so I thought that they were probably really doing honest business; therefore, I changed my review for the better. However, I never got a check from them.
I will never do business with this kind of company again."
