"I place an order 11 days ago and still to get any information from customer service.I have tried to contact them..... I get no answer on E-Mail....or I get a constant busy signal on the phone when I call. For those who contacted them what phone number did you use and I am thinking about stopping payment since my money is still in my account. Can somebody who has been in the same situation advice as to what they did?"

"This place is a scam. Con-artist's that literally stole my money off of me. $487.00 to be exact, for a curio cabinet. I wrote them a personal check back in July 2010.Not only I haven't received anything.. but Now when I try to contact them..... I get no answer on E-Mail....or I get a constant busy signal on the phone when I call. TRY AND CALL THEIR PHONE NUMBER ON THEIR WEB SITE. Also I search this outfit...and am coming up with different address's. Hummmmm, I smell something rotten in the wood-pile!!! Naturally, the Banks are not going to trace the check I wrote(It's not there money... they don't care) So, I'm out this money. I filed a complaint to the Attorney General...maybe they can prevent somebody else of being scammed by these Criminals. I am guessing they are closing up shop(Conned enough)and open up another place under a different name. Buyers....Beware!"

"Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. The nightstand I ordered arrived damaged. I have made over 13 calls to the company. They refuse to reimburse me entirely, and offered partial credit. When I didn't receive partial credit on my next statement, they said they were having problems with their system. They said they would send a check. That was three calls ago. Always some excuse. Terrible customer service, on top of poor quality merchandise."

"We ordered three rooms of furniture from Ed, a Nine piece dining room, three piece living room and a five piece bedroom. The communication that we had with Ed was good. He kept us informed of the progress of our order and made the overall transaction pleasant. Two pieces were back ordered and when they came in, they were shipped at no additional charge. The dining room set that we ordered, we had them substitute different chairs which they did with no extra charge. Unfortunately, one of the chairs was received damaged and they had to order another chair and it was shipped at no added charge. Although it took over three months (counting the damaged replacement) I am very well satisfied with the entire transaction and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Ed and the entire customer service staff."

"ordered a table w/chairs on november 22nd, had to call to confirm order on the 27th. two phone calls, 1 email they didn't respond to, and almost 2 weeks later i have nothing. will wait until about 2 or 3pm today and call, again. credit card hasn't even been charged yet. wish i could just stop payment and cancel order. oh, and they say free shipping but charged 50 bux for handlin, who does that?!?"

"YOU MUST BE WARNED OF EFURNITUREBUYS.COM!
I waited 3 weeks for my daybed to arrive in california, and was surprised to find that the wrong item was delivered. When i got a man named Ed on the phone, who proports to be the store manager, he combatively tries to tell me that i ordered the item that was delivered. i ordered a daybed, and a twin bed is what i received. i believe what happened is that the company website mismatched an item photo (which is what i based my order on) and the item catalogue number. However, they never wanted to take responsibility for their mistake. It took several bizarre phone calls, one in which Ed berates me and hangs up on me! and then calls me back after he's calmed down... to exchange my order. It turns out the daybed that i ordered doesn't even exist in their inventory! I certainly did not want to continue my business with efurniturebuys, and requested a refund. Which of course they refused to accommodate, and i had to find an alternative item. Which ultimately worked against me, because i was forced to pick out a style in their inventory that i never would have purchased outside of this circumstance.

"Adolfo has been extremely rude to me when I first called to find out when my order would be shipped, since it is no where to be found when placing the order. His tone with me was very disrespectful, and when I called him out for having terrible customer service he said, "I know." So obviously he's very proud of his poor customer service. All I could get out of him is that it will take 2-3 weeks. I called 2 weeks later to see about my now "Pending" order and he said it now out of stock and it will take another 3 weeks just for it to come in. I said that I was not informed that the item was not in stock, and he said, "Well sometimes these things happen." So now this company has about 400 of my dollars and I have little faith that they are going to deliver. Great."

There are many statements about this group of companies accepting an order only to require a call-in 'verification' to sell unnecessary items with a higher profit margin as part of the order. If you refuse to buy the garbage, they will 'back order' your item indefinitely. I don't why why this behavior is not illegal in the state of New York, but it should be. We can now add their gaming of froogle.com to the list of offenses. On 3/26/09 their rating here (reseller ratings) is 2.7/10, on froogle it's 4.5/5. How can this be? They appear to have a great many minions.

"This company is joke. First of i call to get a price on something from them and they tell me it costs 399. Then I call back to order and they tell me it cost 499. Then they turn around and say it cost 599 but they will give it to me for 499. They are lying to make the sale. On there website they say they will mtch competetors pricing and beat it by 10%. I then call them with the competetors price and they keep hanging up on me and blaming it on the phone line and are being exteremly rude to me. Then they tell me to email them the price matches. I wait 5 days and hear nothing back from them. I then called them to find out what is going on and the guy tells me the other company charges for shipping so they are more expensive. I then told him I had spoke to another company who was offering a better deal. Then he starts yelling at me saying he was not going to play games and told me to get a life and that I needed to see a therapist because I had problems. What a joke. They have this whole page on there site about how they offer 100% cutomer satisfaction and then they treat me like this because they dont want to stand behind their promises. ITs a joke. By the way, i got a better deal with greatpricedfurniture.com annd they are very nice. They also offer free white glove shipping."
