"Found them from PriceWatch. Online ordered. Nothing for weeks. Voicemail only which was overflowed on messages. Sent email to Yahoo!Store and finally got email from them saying I could check my order online. It was cancelled, item no longer available. They never contacted me. They seem honest, way overstretched, and scary. I will avoid them in the future."

An email saying they received my order was sent a couple days after I placed the order, then 10 days after that, I received another email saying it was shipping in 2-3 days. "I ordered 2 Maxtor 40 gb hard drives from E1Micro. One on July 9 the other on July 11. I received confirmation emails on both orders. A today I receive emails stating the item is no longer available. I attempted to contact E1Micro by phone several times today with no luck. Just a machine telling me they aren't available and to leave a voice message, then another message stating the mailbox is full. I finally attempted to call them this evening at 7:45 p.m. CST and actually got through to a live person right away. He confirmed that they were out of stock and that he may be getting in a shipment of Maxtor 40 gb hard drives with a 2 year warranty tomorrow but it would cost me more and no guarantee they would be in (at least he is honest). I asked if they had any WD 40 gb hard drives in. Nope, out also. They hadn't charged my card with either purchase so I cancelled. The rep wasn't rude in any way. Actually called me sir and apologized for the trouble. I ended up having to order both drives from another company and pay for 2nd day air to keep my customers happy. I do NOT recommend E1Micro to anyone. This is my 1st and last shopping trip with them."

"I ordered a Maxtor 160 GB firewire drive on 6/16/03. I have not heard from them since. My order "status" on Yahoo!Shopping has not changed since the order date. I cannot contact them by phone, I have called several times and get a recording every time. I have tried e-mailing but I get no reply. Very shaddy operation. I am wondering if they are simply a scam operation."
"Attempted to order Samsung 160gb drives from e1micro on 6/16/2003. After no communication by 6/20/2003 I sent query only to find that they are out of stock. Sounds like they're waiting for enough orders to purchase from supplier. E1micro should have immediately told me they were out of stock, not waited for me to ask."
"Service was horrible. Only sent one email with a link to a useless page with no important information: only what part was ordered and a price. No shipping number, etc.
Nine days later, no shipment, no other word than a box on the useless page saying "Order On Hold" with a link to customer service. I've tried calling three times within e1micro's business hours and they have yet to answer.
Once this is cleared up, I will never do business with e1micro again, and I urge you not to either.
Update:
I got ahold of a customer rep through thier toll free number [I'm suprised they have one]. I'm extremely displeased. I was not harsh with the fellow, simply straight forward and was responded to in a much less than professional manner. Given that the item I ordered was quoted as being in stock at the time of the order (an OEM Lite-On 52x24x52 CDRW drive) and that I recieved no confirmation email stating that there was a problem with the order, I was hoping the representative would see reason and possibly help out a new customer. This was absolutely not the case, especially when I mentioned thier low rating here at ResellerRatings - this was his response: "I'm going to cancel your order, rate us whatever you want."
Sage advice.
"We just dont have what you ordered. Just look for another vendor."
Again, quite apt. That's exactly what I intend to do.
Understand that he continually interrupted me saying that he would cancel the order without me expressing the want for such an action. This place is absolutely not customer-focused and obviously aren't for want of my business. That's just fine. They'll never have it again. I suggest that they not have yours, either."
"I ordered a Lite-On CD-RW drive and a Sony CD-ROM drive. The order was apparantly shipped on Friday of that week, 2 days after I placed my order, but that was just the billing info to UPS, it was really shipped on Monday, this was the first disconcerting issue since I couldn't get any tracking information. I received my order on Thursday, I'd ordered a sound cable with the drive and mounting hardware (screws), I didn't get the screws, and the cable was mixed in with the packing peanuts, if I hadn't sifted the peanuts, I would never have found it. Otherwise, the drives were what I'd ordered and in perfect working condition. For what they charged for shipped, I'd think the least they could do was ship it the day they send the billing info to UPS rather than a business day later. Not sure if I'd order from them again due to this."
