"I purchased 5 sets of Lasergrips from Dvor, out of the 5, 2 sets received were incorrect, and one set was defective. After a hassle to RMA them, I was promised replacements. After 3 weeks I contacted Dvor to ask about the replacements, and they said they would refund me in a week or so, they can't send me the lasergrips I ordered. BAD BUSINESS. They just lost a good customer.

"I've ordered with dvor multiple times, the past two times the items I ordered were shown in stock and dvor even has this system in place where once you place an item in your cart, those items are "reserved" for 15 minuets in case you are in the middle of an order and someone ordered the last product in stock. I ordered three base layers from condor, a supplyer who is CONSTANTLY going on sale on dvors website. I ordered them and didnt get an update for about two and a half weeks. I emailed them asking where my package was and they basically gave me the cookie cutter response of "were sorry you are experiencing difficult's ordering, blah blah blah"; long story short the dvor rep told me one to three weeks waiting time. Fine, after a few weeks I forgot about the order completely, so after 68 days of waiting I live chatted with a dvor rep who promptly disconnected me when I started asking questions about where my items were. after a week of no contact my order status was moved from "order placed" to "Canceled" "
"DVOR only allows for a store credit in the event that your item needs to be returned, even if it is DEFECTIVE. Since our defective item is no longer available on the website, we cannot re-purchase, essentially meaning we forfeit the money we paid to DVOR. What a scam! Send out defective merchandise and keep all the money, what a great business model."
"Back in Oct. 2013, I bought a Gerber Covert FAST serrated knife for $50.00 down from $79.99. The package I received held a Gerber box which seemed still factory sealed, and it contained a Gerber certified warrantee certificate. The knife was in perfect condition and still use it today. "
"I found a rifle scope on Dvor that had all the features that I was looking for and at a good price. I had some experience with the brand and read a few reviews so I decided to buy it. After the purchase I continued to research the item only to find several in depth reviews that were consistently critical of the product, so I decided to cancel my order. I had emailed customer service within a few hours of placing the order and received a reply the next morning stating that my order had been processed but that they will try to stop it from being shipped. It shipped the next day, which was surprising because it usually takes Dvor two weeks to process anything. I decided to give the scope a chance and eagerly awaited its arrival. It was defective right out of the box and now I'm sending it back for store credit. Store credit is the only type of return that Dvor allows no return payments or exchanges. Since Dvor does not keep a standardized or consistent inventory, it my be months or years before they have the optic that I want to purchase, if at all. Dvor is owned and operated by and ships from Optics Planet which is usually a really good place to shop. They have fast and free order processing and shipping, a good return policy, helpful customer service, and a very large and consistent inventory. The scope that I wanted was in stock and ready to ship from Optics Planet, but Dvor wont do exchanges, and their store credit cannot be used at Optics Planet.
A few years ago I ordered an expensive part from Dvor only to find that the description was wrong on their website. I had to return it for store credit and then use up the credit on several small and cheap items. After that I quit shopping there for a while. I don't know what made me go back to them recently but I was able to make a satisfying purchase. Then I made a second and then this current unsatisfactory one. That's the core problem with Dvor. Every purchase is a gamble and you'll eventually lose, and they keep your money by forcing you to buy something else from them. Once I spend all of this store credit, I'm done with this company until they do a major overhaul of their business practices. I wont hold my breath."
"I ordered two items , second was just to use a shipping discount. Bu it happened that the main two hundred dollar items was canceled and I paid 10 dollars for 20 dollar worth item that costs very same 20 dollars on amazon with a free shipping. I noticed that for most deals i can find a pretty price on amazon or optic planets. I see no reason to continue my membership. It just makes no sense "
"Placed my first order from Dvor on Dec 6th for a Burris red-dot optic. On Dec 13th I received an email saying they had an "unexpected inventory issue" and were cancelling my original order and transferring it to a new order #. This was a bit of a red flag, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
On Dec 15th I was told the order had been sent to the warehouse for fulfillment and would be shipped out that day or the next, and I would be sent a tracking #. On Dec 19th I still hadn't received a tracking #, and contacted customer service again. This time I was told the order had actually been shipped directly from the manufacturer and they were waiting on the manufacturer to give them the tracking # which they would then forward on to me.
10 days passed and I still didn't get a tracking #. So Dec 29th I contacted Dvor customer service again. This time I was told the order WAS NOT shipped from the manufacturer, and was still waiting to be fulfilled by the warehouse. They had no idea why the order had not been shipped yet or why I was told by the previous representative that it was shipped directly from the manufacturer. So at best they dropped the ball multiple times and have no idea what is going on with the order, and at worst they downright lied about the status and who/when/how the order was being fulfilled.
I have the chat transcripts to document everything mentioned above, although not sure what good it will do. Each interaction with the representative is "we're really sorry but this time it's taken care of" yet nothing actually happens. I am going to give it a few more days to see if they are able to ship the order before cancelling and seeking a full refund. Either way, I certainly will not be buying from them again.
UPDATE: It is now Jan 06 and I still have no update on the order. Shortly after the last contact on Dec 29 Dvor emailed me with another "Sorry we're looking into it" and offered a $10 credit (which is basically worthless since I don't plan on buying anything there again). Even worse, they have the exact same item posted back up for sale, and obviously have no way of fulfilling orders for this item in a reasonable timeframe. Absolutely terrible business practices, downgrading rating to 1 star."
"I have been ordering from DVOR for a couple of years without many issues other than long ship times. This last order was shipped and when I went to their website to check status, I noticed the item was $21 cheaper. I did a online chat with C/S and they told me that they couldn't refund me the money because of an agreement with the manufacture on sale items. I would have to receive the item, return the item for credit then order the item again with the new price. I told them they would lose money on the deal doing it that way but they said that was the only to do it. I was not worth the hassle. I told him to cancel my order along with my back ordered item and to also remove my name from their mailing list and he couldn't type back fast enough saying OK. Great customer service.

"I have used Dvor about a dozen times and while I did receive the products I requested (most often in a timely manner), I have had several bad experiences with this company. Let it be known that this company is a subsidiary/sister company of OpticsPlanet and if you have to deal with them at any length over an issue - plan on sitting on the phone with management for lengthy periods of time. Dvor's purpose is to aid OpticsPlanet with over-runs, bulk purchasing discounts, and "labeled new items discount sales". If you purchase items from this seller there are no cash refunds and store credits are final. I recommend that all individuals check over the sales description (and print that page for your records as I have been charged different prices then what was advertised and had to prove it) and the item upon delivery (they have shipped similar items, some even missing parts). Lastly, note all delivery dates because often the company uses this site to gain purchasing volume and cash flow prior to purchasing the items in bulk, so the product isn't always in stock (thus the slight discounts and long delivery times). As of recently (July 2014) the prices have gone up and they have changed from a low price bargain site towards offering chunks of store credit as incentives for customers. I guess I would look at the other reviews which are more like buyer beware and say buyer be prepared."

"You know, every now and then you come across a website that has prices that just seem too good to be true. Dvor an affiliate of Opticsplanet are seriously some of the most shady dealers I have ever dealt with in my entire life.
Under no circumstances should you trust the promotional offers from this company whatsoever, me and several of my coworkers were recently subjected to a pretty rough bait and switch, wherein they would advertise an item at a price or with a promotional item on a page, but that page doesn't actually have anything to do with those pictures!
They're just there to get you to buy! Despite a content list that advertises otherwise, if you buy a product with a promotional package, they'll insist you have to buy the 'kit package' seperately. I guarantee if you buy from these people you will regret it!

"I have ordered from DVOR 10 times. I have received everything I have ordered, in the factory packaging. The 9.99 shipping is good all day. One time I placed 2 orders on the same day. They charged me both times for shipping. I called and received a credit to my PayPal account that day for the 9.99. Could not be happier with the merchandise I have purchased from them and I cannot speak to the issues others have said they have had. I will definitely shop there again as I see deals on items that I want or need."
