"Seems to have trouble with some downloads lately. Some (other) apps can only locate and dl the commercials while this app and another can find the actual video but download percentage or mb or kb per sec stay at zero and nothing happens. IDK if this is something the host sites are doing or what but it's very frustrating because the commercials keep coming fast and furious preventing any sustained effort to ensure I've tried everything and it's just not worth the time and effort when this occurs."
"5* all day long. speed of up to 10MB per sec (that's good do speed). But the most impressive thing about this app is it downloaded a video from a site that I can't mention on here (wink wink). And for those who don't know the default dl location is /storage/ emulated/0/Android/data/downloader.video.download.free/ Keep up the great work folks!!!"
"Ads aren't as big of a problem as other people are making them sound. I wish if I clicked on a link and it redirected that the new page would open in a new tab, As some of the sites I use have many ads. Not the apps problem, but the app might be able to fix it. Overall, love it. I'm able to watch movies offline."
"App works fine and does what it says - I can't figure out what determines when a video gets downloaded as an mp4 or m3u8. Not seeing any setting anywhere to choose. "

However, the ads after the completion of every action definitely bogs down downloading things which in turn almost defeats the purpose of it's overall speed. Is there a way to support the app and remove the ads? I would definitely pay for this option and I'm sure others would too. Food for thought!"
"The update did the trick, but I would have given five stars anyway as I could quickly tell that it was a bug. Oh yes, I should have started by saying that this is a tremendous downloading app and I can legitimately say that it is better than any i have tried because I had to go through about eight or nine of the damn things to find this one that works. I would be happy to pay if doing so prevented ads, but the ads are not too bad. Thanks. "
"Truly unfortunate. This is actually a good video downloader. In particular, it seems to do a better job of ignoring intro ads and finding the main video. Sadly, it has more ads than any app I've used of any kind. Worse, almost every click in the app triggers an ad. It's insane. I almost never pay for apps, but I'd pay a reasonable price for this one, except there's no paid option, just a horrible implementation of ad support in an otherwise nice piece of coding. I use it only as a last resort."
"This is a very good video download app. It even downloads certain videos you cannot download. Does exactly what it is set to do! I like it. However, I don't like that you cannot set your own download destination, it won't allow you to change download setting, so you have to go through a chain of files to get to your downloads. And I don't like the excessive commercials every time you press a button."

"Great app! I would pay to get rid of them but that's not an option that I can see. How do I get the videos to go straight to a selected folder. It doesn't allow to select specific folders. You have to use the apps "secret personal folder" and later sync to gallery. Not sure if this a good thing, as if it's a security thing?"
