"This company has a problem with lack of communication. When I finally received a response about the status of my order it was 10 days after the order and 5 days after the purchase was made. I responded with an email complaining about their lack of communication and not even 30 minutes later I got a reply using the excuse of being too busy to respond to emails at this time of year. They claimed to be too busy to respond to my inquiry about the status of my order, yet they had time to immediately repond to an email I wrote expressing my frustration and that I was making a BBB report. I have saved emails I have sent to and received from this company. I would suggest you do the same if you have dealt with them or are planning to do so in the future. "

"They charge the credit card immediately and then shipping is ridiculously slow. If you want to return merchandise they offer only store credits. They will not reply to phone calls or emails inquiring why shipment is slow.

Update: Finally, I'm done with the odyssey of ordering from Doxy. My original order was made in August of 2005. They were slow in coming and when I got my items I found I had ordered the wrong size. I ordered some exchanges in size and a couple of other items at the same time. My exchange order was shipped slowly. As of the beginning of February of 2006 I still hadn't received 2 of my items. I did contact them by email at the beginning of Feb 2006 and they agreed to credit my charge card for the amount of these 2 items that hadn't shipped yet. I didn't love one of the items that I did receive, but I'm going to live with it rather than going through the nightmare of trying to exchange it. I don't want to be waiting for my replacement item to arrive for the next few months. But, I was grateful that she agreed to credit my card for those last 2 items that hadn't shipped after all of that time.

"I made my purchase on 11/30/05 and five minutes later I found this website and read the terrible reviews. I then sent a cancellation email to the company. On 12/12/05, I received an email from Jennifer saying that my order was shipped THAT morning. I asked her why it was shipped after I cancelled it and she told me that my cancellation email had been sent to her junk email folder. She then told me that my order would arrive in 2-3 days. On 12/16/05 I received a notice from USPS saying that my package was "undeliverable as addressed". I double checked the address that I put in with my order and it was correct. This means that they did not put the correct address on my package, and now it will not be here in time for Christmas. If you haven't gotten the point from the other reviews, I will tell you again DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!"

"My fiance and I bought some stuff for our honeymoon, and we havent got anything in the mail, and they havent, answer my emails!! Why didnt I find this site before??? I might have to buy our stuff somewhere else... and I'm still unsure if they're going to mail us our order 3 months later or never.. ???? Im so disappointed... I'll NEVER EVER EVER EVER visit their site again. I DONT RECOMMEND IT TO NOBODY! BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS...DAMN IT!"

"Well..... I placed my order with Doxy on Sept 28th Ordering a few pieces of lingerie and some gloves to go with my Halloween Costume. I recieved an e-mail confirmation of my order but as of this date 11/7/05 I still have not heard a word or recieved a thing from Doxy Lingerie. I have e-mailed them three times questioning the status of my order of course I have recieved no response from them what so ever. I am very dissapointed in this company and had no idea that this has happened to others. I will never purchase anything from this comp. again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know of my expierience and the expieriences of others I have read here on this site."

If you visit www.ripoffreport.com, you will read several other negative testimonials about Jennifer Lutke's online businesses. She does not ship your order as promised,she ignores emails when customers want to know where their orders are, & when you say anything about it, she threatens you with a lawsuit. I was shocked that somany people have had the same experience as myself! I am glad that consumers like us have the right to free speech, but how is it that Jennifer Ltke can continue to rip people off and get away with it? "

"I have returned to give you girls out there the outcome of my order. Here's the story Im sure it sounds familiar because if your reading this most likely your in panic questioning "where is my stuff I ordered" I ordered my costume September 24th emailed them a couple times they responed after three emails then they would respond with a simple answer no apologys no nothing finally it was the week before halloween still no costume and no status I emailed them basically letting them know that if I do not receive it by next week and have a tracking number I want my credit card credited they charged my card September 28th which is pretty dumb because nothing should be charged until it has shipped finally she apologizes about everything and said they had a flood in the warehouse and she would send it out 2-3 days priority mail I got it on Thursday two days before Halloween it came close but I got it and loved the costume but HATED the Customer Service they have a lot of nice things but I rather save myself from getting a big head ache and order it from some other store. SO GIRLS BE WARNED AND LISTEN TO US !!!!!!! DO-NOT-ORDER-FROM-DOXY-LINGERIE- youll be sorry if you do HOPE THIS HELPS "

"This online shop has THE worst customer service ever!!! I can not recommend Doxy Lingerie to anyone. You place an order, they take your money (funny, it is the one thing they do promptly) and then you never hear from them again. A month passes (the required amount of time before they will even consider answering your email accrd to their website), so I send an email inquiring as to the status of my order (a costume), another week goes by and no reponse yet. Halloween approaches and I am thinking I am going to have to go shopping in order to look for another costume to wear. SO no response to emails and no contact phone number for the company. I am feeling like they took my money and ran. I have never experienced such poor business practices, they must not value having repeat customers. Lesson learned -take my advice, save yourself a headache and spend your money elsewhere. "

"I ordered a halloween costume and some other items a month early and figuered I should get my costume in on time. Doxy Lingerie only charded me for the other items and did not bother to tell me that my costume was not available. I emailed them several tiems and I recieved one email from them saying that they are shipping my items out "tomorrow." They dont have a telephone number listed on their site to contact them and they never return emails. About a month later I finally recieved a shipping confirmation number and the that is the only way I found out that my costume was never available. I went to 4 halloween costume stores to find out that no one has my costume any more due to the fact that it is so close to halloween. "
