"I wouldn't be so angry if the home page of Doggiefood.com didn't have a giant map where it shows areas and transit time. My area (purple) = 5 days. From my UPS SUREPOST tracking # on past orders I've made... ALL have sat at their warehouse for about a week and ALL have taken longer than 5 days in transit, usually 7 days AFTER that it shows being transferred to local post office where it sits for a few more days. So expect a longer wait advertised. "

"I've been ordering dog food and treats for awhile. It's hit-or-miss. Sometimes the transaction goes without a hitch. Last time I ordered 5 16oz bags of treats, and received 2 16oz bags and 6 6oz bags. The "packing list" matched what I ordered, not what I got. Two emails to them, no answer. I think they buy up dented cans from the manufacturers at a discount, because almost every order I get has dented cans (still sealed though) even though they use a ton of packing peanuts to ship items."

"Doggiefood.com had all the brands that I love to feed to my dogs and that my dogs love to eat! I was very pleased to discover the website from a woman in the neighborhood who recommended it to me because I have 5 dogs and 1 cat...not to mention an outside rabbit, my son's hamster and a betta fish. Feeding all these animals the best foods was getting expensive, I was so close to feeding a lower quality food but Doggiefood.com was much more affordable than our local pet stores. I also was skeptical about ordering my pets food online but my order shipped and arrived on time :) Both me and all my animals are very happy!"

"Pretty much the same story here.....has been two weeks since my order and am being told I will receive the order today. After several emails, I did finally get a phone call and email from Tony, who explained that they had a glitch in supply due to the large volume of people ordering the reduced priced treats AND said that I should be happy because another glitch allowed customers to get sale pricing as first time customers, even though they may have ordered from them before.
I've got to say.....I don't recall ever ordering from them before (I order so much on line), but may have in the distant past. The implication I got from this company was shame on me for taking advantage of this offer in error----and that their long delay in delivery was offset by me getting sale pricing.....Not a very satisfied customer......

"Awful service, 1st and last time i will order from them.They do not respond to emails, even after I sent four of them. They send me the wrong size bag of dog food, even when the right size is listed on my receipt. They do not respond to my emails. I am going to file w/the BBB on this company. They are awful. They don't care about the consumers."

"This is actually the first time that I am ordering from Doggiefood.com. I placed on order from them on Wednesday and was to receive it on Thursday. So far no delivery has been made. I checked online with UPS and all it shows is that the label has been made. So, i am guessing that my package is still at the store. When I spoke to a customer representative, she told me that I would get it by tomorrow, being that I am in Brooklyn, whereas the business is in Rode Island. My question is: WHERE IS MY DOG FOOD? I have been placing calls since yesterday, and their mailbox is full. Not even a voice-mail message can be added. what a coincidence. I am not sure if I will be ordering from them again."

"I have to agree with some of the other negative reviewers. I placed an order on the 3rd of September. Here it is the 18th, and not only have I not received the order, according to the UPS tracking code it hasn't even left their warehouse. I emailed the contact email address they recommend on the site, with no answer. (Their phone hours are so short I haven't been able to call during my work hours).
EDITED: Tony finally contacted me and told me that they were out of stock (they had been offering product at a very low price), which is why my order never shipped. He asked if I would like a refund, and I said yes. While this situation was resolved satisfactorily, it would have been less of a problem in the first place if they had simply communicated with me about the order problem.

"Their dry dog food price was the best so I ordered from them. Not only did it take a full 12 days to arrive but the Best By date on the bag was only four (4) days after delivery:( I called them immediately & was told they would ship a new bag, with a good date, out on Monday (this was a Saturday) & I'd have it on Wednesday. They did not want the original bag returned. Well, not only did the package arrive on Wednesday, they sent a 15 pound bag, instead of the 5 pounds I'd originally ordered, with a note saying "Sorry for the problem." Although I wouldn't want to go through that again, Doggiefood.com did the right thing."

"I've been ordering from Doggiefood.com for about 3 years.
Have always had a good experience. Timely shipping. Competitive pricing.Good customer service via Tony. One of my 2 dogs has diet restrictions due to allergies and Doggiefood gives me many options to choose from. Until I found what works for my dog and he likes it. Not to mention they have excellent promotions on shipping and money saving promos on Facebook. I've saved $$$ on their site and my dogs are happy and healthy!

"I'm very disappointed, they have violated federal law and said, if I return their defective product (dog food made both of my dogs sick); then I will have to pay for shipping, and they refused to give me a refund or provide proper costumer service. Then they claimed my dogs are both allergic to the food, while both dogs simply have thrown up, in my vet's opnion this was not a food allergy, but rather the food was bad. No more this company!"

"We ordered both dry dog food (EVO) and two cases of canned, (EVO) as well. The total order came to just over $100.00.

Doggiefood.com's website says orders are processed every day as recieved, and shipped the next weekday. We placed the order on a Monday, and didn't hear anything back for three days, apart from the charge on our bill. I emailed on the forth day requesting a tracking number, and finally received an email from them saying the order was processing. It still took another two days to ship, and nine days to arrive.

There was an error in ordering the canned food, and I emailed the contact ****@**** asking for some assistance. He/they again failed to even respond.

It seems from our experience, that Doggiefood.com is not interested in our business, and I will not conduct any further transactions with them.

There are too many on-line businesses that desire customers, and will treat those who spend money at their site with respect. Doggiefood.com does not fall in this category.

"I have never ordered or sign-up to Doggiefood.com but somehow they got a hold of my private e-mail address. Since then (at least 5 months now) I have been inundated with solicitation from them - 2 arrive everyday! A few weeks ago I spoke with a person who said he was the owner. He said he didn't have my e-mail address on his list and quickly rushed off the phone. He never said he would look into the matter (If this were my company I would want to know who is sending e-mails with my company's name on it.) Well, I started forwarding these e-mails to the company's only e-mail address - ****@**** - for over a week now. No one has bothered to reply. This experience has made me think the owner was lying and does indeed have my e-mail address and is now purposely sending the solicitation to me everyday. Because of this I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM - AND WILL CONTACT CONSUMER AFFAIRS UNTIL THE MATTER IS RESOLVED."

"Just had my first experience with this vendor and it will definitely be my last! I placed my order on Jan. 9th and it just shipped today, the 18th! 9 days to ship an order is unacceptable! My dogs are completely out of food and my tracking form says that the food won't arrive until the 24th! 15 days to get my order!? There are many other sites that ship within a reasonable amount of time....skip this one!"
