"We first had tires installed here Sep[t 2019, they where to replace 4 TPMS (tire pressure sensors) they replaced only 3, ( couldn't explain why only 3 ) returned after couple blocks they had put wrong sensors in, had to reinstall. Couple months later discovered 4th sensor was bad went back to store tired to charge me I refused to pay for it, of course the manager who first wrote my deal had left Discount's employment, now 5 months later sensor light back on, they took all 4 tires off and reset and rotated but again this time left the valve caps off of the valve stem, these are tire people........... I don't think so. ( oh and current manager just laughed raised his eye brow like didn't believe me )"

For a few days it bothered me , as I felt I could have had an accident with 4 ply tires on my van, so I did some research only to find out they were 10 ply and totally safe. "Ordered the tires that included a rebate. Website said they had plenty in stock. A week goes by with no shipping info so I called. They said they called and left a message that the tires were not in stock. I guarantee they did not call. The replacements don't have a rebate (of course), but he gave me an instant discount of $50 to appease me, so like a fool I bought the tires. DTD has a whole list of installers they work with, but when I had the tires installed I was charged $100. I told them mounting and balancing was included by DTD, he said that was news to him so he called. Come to find out mounting and balancing is only free when you buy both the tires AND wheels from them. "BOTH" being the operative word which they DO NOT say on their website. By the time I got done with everything I could have bought the tires locally for a lot less. Between the bait and switch and the promise of free mounting that was deceitful, I'll never deal with them again and you shouldn't either."
"I made a tire balance appointment days before arriving. Walk-ins were serviced before me and my vehicle went into the bay 25 minutes after my appointment time. Wesley G Spurgeon called me over and indicated that the tires were worn. Too worn to even rebalance and the vibration I was feeling was because the tread was so thin it was transferring the road roughness to the steering wheel. After a good laugh I told him what the tread depth was. He reversed direction and said the tires were worn to the wear bars. I told him to look again. I have decades of experience in the automotive industry and knew the exact condition of my tires. So then he states that just the rear tires were really worn. But here is a good deal we can make for a new set of 4 tires he says. So I asked what the prorated price would be since the 65K mileage warranty was short by over 30K miles. He said that without receipts for rotation and rebalancing he could not honor the warranty. So I asked if tires that were evenly worn would qualify. He said no. So to him a piece of paper tells more than the tire itself. These tires were rotated and I was waiting until they got to the wear bars before attempting to get the warranty honored. In the past they rejected the warranty because they said the tires weren't worn to the wear bars. He could have said sorry but that's our policy or would you like to talk to the manager, but he chose to spout nonsense. Obviously, can't win here. I said, no thanks, no more discussion, just rebalance. After the rebalance he showed me some slight feathering on the front wheels. He said this was probably the vibration and I needed new tires. Finally, I get out of there and low and behold there is no more vibration even at speed on the interstate. To sweeten the experience, I now had a brake pedal pulsation when firmly applying the brakes. A classic result of uneven lug nut torque. So when I got home I had to back off and retorque the lug nuts to spec. So much for the wisdom and skill at Discount Tire. Due to their assumption that I was not knowledgeable and they could insult my intelligence, good old Wesley has lost Discount Tire the sales for all 3 of my cars. "

Website says instant price match. After you submit the lower price, you have to wait for an email sent within 24 hours. To use PayPal, you have to place the order at full price and call for a refund for the difference after they charge you. And it says they refuse to be beat by other people’s prices. It’s all lies. Easy-tires.com comes with one year warranty included and they are less expensive and my tires arrived 24 hours after I placed the order !"
"Bought tires twice from discount tires and both times I was promised a 50 dollar gift card and the second time I was promised 150 dollar gift card because I was a returning customer and bought trims and tires plus I explain to the salesman I never received my first gift card. He really apologised and assured me I would get 150 dollars in gift cards if I purchased my tires today. Well thank God i didnt hold my breath waiting for those gift cards because they never arrived again. Promises promises but failed to deliver twice. Never again...they lost my business"

I never even bothered to compare prices because I knew they were the least expensive with their multiple rebates, especially around holidays. Now, ever since they had a notice on their site about their founder dying, it seems like the good rebates have gone away, and they act like the manufacturer's rebates are a big deal. Sometimes I will go back and check prices, usually to find they are no cheaper than other web sites. I unsubscribed from emails."

"ordered a set of vision nemesis wheels in gunmetal. it showed they had less than 12 in stock, but they had them. get an email the next day saying to call them because they couldnt finalize the order for some reason. i look on their site and they are now special order!!!
we get the run around on the phone, saying the place they get them from is closed till monday and that they will give us an update on monday. but on the phone they said they will have to order them directly from the manufacturer now, which will take 7-8 business days! from in stock to 7-8 business days after a weekend. meanwhile, the tires i ordered are sitting at pepboys just waiting for us to have the rims, and both were ordered on thanksgiving!
when im shown on their website that they have something, and i place the order and then they cant deliver, that takes away business from someone who ACTUALLY has the product IN STOCK that i would have otherwise purchased the wheels from. this bull**** just wastes my time!
