"I ordered on October 30, 2017 expecting as claimed by seller 3 to 4 business days as we are only 500 miles from them. Free shipping turned out to be via forty mule train that stopped for water every 10 miles. I contacted them about the delay repeatedly trying to find out what the hold up was. They indicated they used Fed-X for free deliveries but as it turns out they interline with the US Postal service and the package sat for three days only 55 miles from my home. They suggested I use the $6.99 expedited shipping option to solve the problem as if that would help at this point. After contact again they said the package was lost and basically they had no clue where or when I might receive it. Then I received an e-mail from them today saying it was out for delivery and I should get it today. It did arrive today November the 8th and the two filters I ordered were not in the package. The filters they sent weren't even for the same make of refrigerator as mine. They have received two orders from me: My FIRST and LAST. It might have been excusable if they had shown more concern about the delay and looked into it rather than just saying: use upgrade shipping, we apologize or were sorry. None of those show much concern for the customer in my book. "
"I should have checked for reviews on these guys first! They came up as a top Google search when looking for Samsung water filters under shopping & I thought these filters would be fine. I purchased the "Samsung comparable" filters to fit my Samsung fridge & bought 4 of them. Not surprisingly, they aren't comparable! They just don't fit. The installed end is slightly different which is enough to prevent correct installation. Emailed these guys a week ago & no response! Do not purchase fridge filters here!"
"Be very wary of these scumbag counterfeit sellers- They label items as OEM but sell you cheap knock off products. Dead giveaway when prices are half or more cheaper than they should be and items arrive without OEM packaging. The worst part is innocent customers who believe they are buying legitimate brand parts will be very surprised when their Appliance warranty is voided by the manufacture for using non OEM parts."
"Ordered a Doulton Filter housing on May 13th. 2017. It is now May 18th. and still no Product, From Mn. to Pa. Post office has no record of it. And discountfilterstore.com can't help. Buyer beware with this company, stay away. Use Amazon prime instead. I could have driven there and back faster than that, They use DHL ecommerce which is super slow. Although I payed for speedier shipping this is what I got. or haven't got.

"I ordered on July 13, 2015 and as of this date July 28 2015 my filters have not arrived. Contacted them 6 times via email and tracking was useless.
The only advice I would give is to shell out the few extra $ and buy your filters from your hometown store. At least they will be in your hands.
News Flash: they did tell me if they arrived at some point I could keep them and were going to ship out other filters ASAP. Yah right !"
"I purchased and received 3 refrigerator water filters. I tried the first and the water tasted bad, my wife tried a second one and it too produced a bad taste in our water. I contacted Discount Filter Store via email and received a reply. The short of it was that of course I was entitled to a refund and would receive one if I returned the unused filter. I returned the unused filter more than two months ago via an insured USPS package. Since then I have been stoned walled by Discount Filter. No return has arrived. All I have had was one weak explanation after another for not sending the refund they promised. Please do believe any thing they say. Here is what they emailed me on 2/2/15:

"Ordered a refrigerator water filter. The price was cheaper than Sears where I used to get this filter. I am usually hesitant when buying from online retailers I have never used but was comfortable with this website because they accept PayPal which gives you a layer of protection (I think).
Anyway, ordered the filter, received a couple of e-mails confirming the order and shipping (which was upgraded as with the other reviewer). The filter arrived a couple of days after order. I installed it and it works perfect.
