"I bought a LaCie 1TB external drive for $92. It didn't work at all. I was promised a replacement, but after I shipped it back (and received confirmation of receipt by the USPS) they say they don't have it and they won't send anything. Sounds like they've played this trick on several others here too. I will never buy from Digitalet again.
UPDATE (Nov 23 2009):
I was surprised to receive a message from Digitalet offering to send me a replacement drive on the condition that I revise this review. I have received the drive, but the drive did not have the necessary utility to format the drive for Windows. However, I was able to format it on a Mac today and am now using it successfully with my Windows PC, three months after I made the original purchase."

If you return anything, make sure you have your tracking information because if you ship something back without tracking (first class mail), it never arrives so they will not give you credit. I've never had anything get lost in the mail, except to this company. It was only a $18 item, so I learned this lesson pretty cheaply, be forewarned. "
