lost order

"ordered they shipped ups lost it, ups said shipper had to file claim, shipped deep blue said i had to and was not helpful at all into solving issue. as of yet not responding to my emails."

Worst. Service. Ever.

"I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering from this company. We spun our prop and didn't have a backup. I called to find out which was the better brand (Solas or Michigan) and was told Solas. We asked why and got a short, curt response, "Because it is." We were also told that it would ship the next day because it was 10 minutes after the 2:00 cutoff and that we would have to order online. Mike was just rude. Strike one.

So I placed the order online, received an order confirmation via email and my card was charged. We selected 2-day shipping so that we could have the prop for the weekend. This was Wednesday. Saturday, no prop showed up, so I went online to check the shipping status...prop not shipped. Strike two.

So I called, and got the "Monday through Friday hours" recording. I sent an email and was told that this prop is on backorder and it would be two to three weeks before they have more.

Not only was the prop showing in stock when I ordered, but we had verbal confirmation that it would ship the next day. Yet it did not, and we did not have any notification that the part would be delayed almost a month. STRIKE THREE!

So I requested a refund, per their written policy on their website...which, by the way, said that if a part was backordered that they would notify me immediately by phone or email (they did not). I was told to, "Please allow 7-14 days for the refund to be reflected in your account." Funny, it didn't take 24 hours for them to CHARGE my card for a part that they didn't have, even though it was the only thing on the order.

Buyer beware. There are other dealers out there, some with better pricing. Stay away.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, as I prefer to take it up with the company and give them a chance to make it right. But in this case it is warranted.

Poor service

" Ordered a propeller, paid $155 for priority shipping. Ordered Thursday, did not ship Thursday did not ship Friday, they told me it was shipping Monday, it did not, they told me it had shipped Tuesday, it did not. Was hung up on Wednesday. They refused to refund any my $155 priority shipping fee"

Highly recommended!

"Everything was perfect from start to beginning. The prop guys did an inboard sizing and got me into the correct pair of Bronze Inboard Props. The boat has never run better. Best part was I saved a couple hundred bucks over what my marina was trying to charge me."

Puller won't pull

"The ACME puller that I ordered fits my 1" propeller shaft but it will not pull my propeller as the screw travel is not long enough. There should be a specification that says what depth propeller the puller will work on."

Perfect Fit

"The prop & hub I ordered were a perfect fit. The installation instructions were clear & concise. It took me only minutes to completely install the hub kit and the prop. This was my first experience with Deep Blue Yacht Supply and I will definitely use them in the future. I will definitely recommend them to my friends."

Keyed Up

"I just received he prop I ordered and It arrived when Deep Blue said it would. This is important because I am entered in a boat shoe at Lake Tahoe at the end of this month.

However, the prop has a 0.312 wide keyway and my shaft has a 0.250 wide keyway. They asked for my shaft diameter, which is one inch, but didn't mention key size. I assumed that .250 key was standard for a one inch shaft.

So, what do I do now?
