"At the beginning of May, I purchase a camera from one of Dealcat’s
auctions. I used the "ASK SELLER A QUESTION" link on the auction
page. A person replied back to me answering any questions I had
regarding the item. He asked me to wire money to Romania via Western
Union. After reviewing Dealcat's Feedback rating, I came to the
conclusion that it must be a legitimate auction. Needless to say it
was a scam and I am now without my money and the camera. I have
contacted Dealcat.com to see if they could help me in any way. They
told me that there was nothing that they could do about it and that
it was my Fault not theirs. My argument was that they should have
better security in place so that these people can not hack into their
pages. This person was using all of Dealcats info. to scam people.

DEALCAT was very UNPROFESSIONAL about the matter and did nothing to
help me.

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN WITH
DEALCAT.COM AUCTIONS...…..

"This is as close to a scam site as you can get without being an outright scam. Their home page states"same day shipping for in stock items order before 12:00". Try days later. Submitted at least order cancellations, none acknowledged until they finally shipped, Response. " order cancelled until we acknowledge". Charged $27.85 for ship 9#s ground in the same city. Out of state vendor shipped same item for less than $9.00. Apparent penalty for denying acceptance of supposed same day shipment nearly two weeks later is 20%. Disagree that DealCat is communicative, of eight messages sent only two acknowledged. Will never place another order with DealCat and advise anyone contemplating same, despite price, to not order and avoid getting skinned.

"This is my second and likely to be my last order. The prices of the merchandise are very good but they make up their profit in ridiculous shipping charges. I just paid $18 for 7 inkjet cartridges. They have tripled their charges over the last 6 months. Thsi order was received promptly, but my first order took some 4 weeks to receive. I have send them messages about their shipping charges, but don't even get a courtesy response. They are now very low on my list of good businesses."
