"I was very disappointed in this company. Not only did they have to resend the product so it took twice as long because of a great delay in first order but also I asked if the case fit a specific phone and was told it did so. Well after finally waiting weeks for the item it did not fit so I wrote to the company explaining everything and felt I should have the shipping back of the item credited as well since they not only lied about the product but messed up with the shipping so bad. They refused and also would not give me a phone number or email of a supervisor or manager when asked for it. This is no way to run a business not only lost my business which I order alot online but also word of mouth will hurt their business. They have alot to learn obviously!"

"They advertise FREE SHIPPING on cell phone accessories, but apparently that means they do not pay the shipping cost, so it is free to them! DayDeal sent my order in regular first class USPS mail, but did not put any postage on it, so I had to pay the Post Office to get it. I'm only out 44 cents, but still, that is terrible. Before leaving this negative review I called their phone number yesterday, and it went to voicemail, and then I emailed customer service and still haven't heard back, so I feel they deserve a negative review.

Edited to add: They did end up replying to my email and offered me $5 store credit, so I tried ordering again and this time they did pay the postage on the package. Hopefully the first order was a mistake.

"If you order anything from this company, hope that it is in good condition and will not fail after 30 days. Otherwise, you will be very sorry. This company DOES NOT stand behind their merchandise. I wasted a lot of money purchasing items from this company that failed after four months or were not compatible with my cell phone and not discovered until after this so-called 30 day "warranty" period. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!"

"I made my first order Sunday night and received an order confirmation email right away. 2 days later I received an order processed and shipped email. My order arrived on Friday, well packed with everything intact and I selected the standard free shipping. I did read the reviews here before making my purchase and the fact they accept PayPal was basically the final deciding factor. A phone and fax number were easily found on their web site as well as being included in the emails. Since it was a smooth transaction and I did not need customer service I can not comment on that. I would do business again."

"Created an account and placed my first order (for a couple of cell phone carrying cases) on a Monday afternoon. Opted for the free standard shipping, which *could* have taken close to two weeks at the outside. But I received the items the following Friday. Along the way, Daydeal's email notifications were fast and efficient, and their phone number was included in all of them (and is not 'hidden' or buried on their website either), although it is not toll-free. Packaging was solid, items were of better quality than expected, prices great. No reason arose for me to discover what their customer service or problem resolution would have been like, and maybe I just got lucky, but for me the bottom line was that my transaction couldn't have gone better."

"I bought a headset amplifire from Day Deal on July 27. On July 29, I received a shipping conformation, but with no tracking number. I didnt think anything of it, so I just waited for it to arrive. On August 18, I still didnt get it. So I emailed the customer support asking them where my stuff is. They emailed me back the next day telling me that I should wait the full 7 business days (where it has been 15 business days so far), and included a tracking number with a link to the UPS site. It said it shipped and that it was in the USPS's possesion. Very common. But the part that was not right was that the station that the package was in was called "Southern Connecticut". This is not how a USPS lables their stations. Additionally, the lady at my post office looked all over the data base with the tracking number, and there was no evidence of it ever being in USPS's possesion. So UPS must returned it probably due to a bad label. Because of the possibilty, I made sure that my address was right, and it was. So that was Day Deal's fault. It took them another 15 business days and a lot more emails for them to finally give me my money back. I will never have anything to do with them again."

"trying to buy by Daydeal was the biggest mistake I made in months. and over months, because months it took.
I tried to buy a new mp4-player, the Zune 80gb to be precise. and because it is hard to get one outside the U.S., I tried Daydeal because they offer also shipping to outside the U.S.
So I ordered it, but a couple of days later I got an email, which said an system error had accord, and right after that the Zune was out of stock. I asked Daydeal about it, and they said I had to wait and check the site when it was back in stock again. so after about 4 months it was finally back in stock. so I ordered right away, and payed right away with Paypal. but soon after that I got an email back which said one of the items I had ordered was out of stock, I checked each item, but none of them was. so I tried that a couple of times, and each time I got the same email back. then suddenly the emails changed, now they said my shipping address was unconfirmed! and I had to make that right with Paypal. so I asked Paypal about it, they said the option to confirm a shipping address outside the U.S. is still not available, and that they hope the store will understand that. well, the store didn't! they didn't even took the effort to reply my mails. so that's how Daydeal solves problems!
overall, Daydeal says they can ship international, but actually they don't. also the mails I got were not really helpfull and very unprofessional. and then not even spoke about they just ignore you, if they can't help you further because their system sucks.

"Ordered an item on 10/1/07 and was sent two emails afterwards telling me the item was backordered. Eventually a week after ordering I received an email that they had cancelled my order. Just tell me that you don't have it in stock! That way I won't have to waste my time buying from this company, and I can buy elsewhere. I wasted a week in getting the item I needed."

"I bought a car charger (that goes in the cigarette lighter) for my cell phone. This was the first time buying from DayDeal.com. I really thought it was a great deal considering they have free shipping on all cell phone accessories. Also after the order was placed I received an email receipt for my order, then an email later that the order was currently being fulfilled/packaged, then later an email telling me that my order had shipped. I think all online companies should be this detailed in their ordering process. I emailed their customer service department and they answered within 24 hours, so that is definitely better then some of the other online companies (like tigerdirect that answers in 3 days or never at all). I received the package on-time and it worked great even though I bought an off-brand accessory instead of a name-brand accessory (they had that too but I'm too cheap). I just received in my email an email newsletter from daydeal.com that gives a 10% off coupon on everything on their store this month, so I think I will definitely continue buying from this fantastic company. Please keep it up daydeal."

"I ordered a Monaco Metal Case for a Samsung BlackJack with a Displex Scratch Remover Display Polish on June 2, 2007 with standard shipping. I received an e-mail on June 5 that my order had been processed.

So having all the patience in the world, I wait until June 14 to send an e-mail to inquire where my shipment is, as USPS website was of no help whatsoever.

I got a very quick response from their customer service the same day telling me the following:

"Thank you for shopping with DayDeal.com. Your order was shipped out as of June 5, 2007. Please allow 4 to 7 business days for delivery to be made via USPS standard first class mail. However, in case USPS is experiencing any delays, please allow until Tuesday to receive this package. If you do not receive it within this time, please contact us."

Why should I wait another 4 to 7 days for my package when it was supposedly shipped out on the 5th? They didn't send my order either because they didn't have the item in stock or for some other unknown reason.

I received my packaged on June 20 around 6pm. My first experience with DayDeal was the worst I have ever had with any online retailer and this will be my last.

It shouldn't have taken 15 days to get my shipment if the item is in stock.

"Very satisfied. Ordered 2 headset adapters for a Motorola Razr. Regular retail is $20.00. Daydeal sold them for $13.00 and regular USPS shipping was free. Other on-line vendors sells the adapter for less, then charges up to $10.00 postage, each! Fast order confirmation and the usual follow-up emails you expect from on-line purchases from a quality vendor. "
