Worst customer service ever

"I have to pay more than the shoe cost just to get the right size . There sizes are not true to size and even though i ordered a size up they still insist i have to pay $39 for shipping when the shoes only cost $30. Never give these people your money. "

Sent wrong size & refused to exchange for correct size!!

"Warning! Do not shop the website “Dancewear Solutions”. We ordered a clear strap bra from them with which the size chart on the package was different than the one on the website, so it’s too small. When I explained to them this is why we need to exchange it they refused stating they won’t do an exchange or return because it’s undergarments. They blamed the manufacturer but refused to take any responsibility for their website or the products they sell. Now we’re stuck with an expensive too small dance costume bra & still need to order another one!"

bad shipping practices

"ordered a leotard needed it right away. got the two to three day priority shipping payed two times the shipping for what i payed for the leotard.never received shipping confirmation when i contacted them they said i could pay more shipping and get it in 2 days or cancel because they were backed up on orders. so i just canceled no more business for them."

ordered PA15100 Pastry Pop Tart Sneakers

"Customer service is always great. I may have thought these sneakers would have better support though. As a Group Ex, Dancer and Personal Trainer, Spin Instructor, and ballroom dance enthusiast, I switch shoes many times. I find my fitness dance sneakers have a support for the arch of the foot, yet may have mistaken this item for another kind of shoe. Pretty design yet I just can't wear them because they're not designed to fit securely with the foot as it moves through chores and I don't want to injure myself. But it's such a pretty sneaker :) If I was a shoemaker I'd certainly re-design it after all my father was a Patternmaker so I know how to make clothing. (Right? Most dancers put together awesome outfits on their own too :) So thank you for the great items on your site too. Peace! "

Wonderful customer service

"I purchased a pair of tights in order to hide my leg tattoos under my fishnets for a performance But somehow the usps screwed up and I never got them, I was very upset as I needed them that week for a performance and knew( bc I had already searched) that there were no tights that would match the color of my legs at any stores near me. I reached out in despair to the company, and they were extremely helpful and sent me a pair that same day and I received them a day before my performance! Annnnnnd They did the job with covering my tattoos. I will be purchasing another pair soon, as these were a little too light so I want to try a shade darker but for now these are totally fine! Good quality, good stretch and comfort AND Great customer service is a win in my book. Thank Dancewear Solutions"

Not so great product, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"I purchased a leotard that was on clearance. The big red print warns that there are no exchanged or refunds on clearance items. I read that after the leotard that I order had a defect. I called customer service to see if there was anything that could be done. She did explain to me that there are no refunds, or exchanges as I was reading it on the site. The customer service rep got my phone number and asked if she could call me back. She called within 5 minutes and had sorted out a refund for me, even though I should have read the bright red print. They told me to keep the product. I love the Leo, so hopefully I can mend the strap that had the defect. I was so shocked that they are refunding me, even though it states very clearly the policy! I will continue to order from dancewear solutions in the future. I usually use discount dance, but the service I received today was so wonderful, I will order from here more often."

Horrible exchange and return policy.

"After I received the item I purchased and was way too small, I called to inquire about this issue and was told that they normally tell people (no they don’t!) about having to order two size bigger than what I usually wear. There is no easy or quick return. On top of it I had to pay for the return shipping. "

Liars

"I placed an order on the 28th of August. Right after I placed the order I realized that I ordered an adult large (LA) instead of a child's large (LC). I called right away and was told it was too late and that the order had already shipped out. I didn't receive shipment confirmation until the next day. I tracked my package just to find out that they didn't even print my shipping label until the 29th. I let them know that I didn't appreciate being lied to and the will get more business from me. By the way I can exchange or return the item because it was on clearence. "

Not worth it!

"I ordered a pair of ballet slippers 2 sizes bigger than current child's size as per their chart recommendation. The slippers were still too small. I paid shipping and handling $9.66 to get the original slippers @$14.95 but to return/exchange the customer has to pay to return or exchange. They will then ship back to you at no additional cost. Their policy wants you to put their box into another box for shipping so as not to damage the box or merchandise otherwise no deal. It cost me $12.58 to return the item. I paid more than the worth of the slippers which I believe is poor business practice. I spoke to customer service but they politely told me there was nothing they could do about it. Buyers beware! "

"I ordered one pair of dance sneakers and one pair of high-top sneaker. One of them looks second-handed, and another is not only disappointing looking but also very uncomfortable to wear. I tried to return one of these (since another one was on clearance, which I can't return), the customer service was not very friendly. And their policy is that the customer has to pay the shipping cost for return, which is almost half price of the item itself. Anyhow, I wouldn't waste my money and time with them any more. Hope you will not, either. "

"I needed to get some last minute dance gear for one of my kids and I could not find anything locally.

I came across Dancewear Solutions website and it had what was needed at a fair to low price. I was hesitant to order from them at first because I did not think that I would get the product by the deadline that I was informed of. Since I had no other option, I went and ordered it with the option of 3-5 day delivery, the price was just a little bit more than the cheapest method of delivery.

There were faster methods of deliveries but the price of the shipping would be more than the product itself and I could not come to peace within myself for paying more for shipping than the product itself.

I ordered the item on Saturday. I got an email shortly after confirming the order. On Tuesday I got an email stating the item was shipped. It was estimated that the delivery would happen on Thursday. On Wednesday, to my surprise, I received the item.

The item was as described and at a nice low price. The shipping was quicker than expected and was priced very reasonable for the shipping method that I chose.

If I needed to get any other dance items for my kids, I know where I would go.
