Fraud

"Seller (DaaVeeDee) sent me a defective disc. I requested a replacement disc (instead of a refund) and the seller decided by himself that I must not have a region free player (I do. It works fine, except with this disc) and cancelled my replacement request and kept 30% of my purchase price for...reasons. This is fraud. Use this seller at your own risk. Will be reporting to BBB and NJ State AG. "

Quite pleased

"I discovered the ratings on this vendor after I'd placed my order. I was looking for their physical address, to get an idea of how long I might expect to wait for the Blu-ray that I bought to arrive, when I stumbled on these ratings. I'm not sure if I would have chosen them had I seen the poor ratings. In reality, there aren't many raters yet, but I thought I'd add mine to perhaps balance out the bad ones. I ordered a Blu-ray from them on 21 April 2022, it arrived four days later in perfect condition. They offered the cheapest price for the movie I wanted, by a fair margin. Can't ask much more than that. "

SCAM!!!DON’T BUY!!

"I bought a dvd for my son for Christmas and it is from Denmark and will not play in the US. This person should not be able to sell at walmart! The picture of the dvd was different from the one that was sent to me and now they won’t respond to any of my emails. I have emailed 4xs and received the same response every time which was that I need to buy a new dvd free reign player. I want my 40.00 nack and will complain to walmart that this person is a scammer!!"

DVD Came Promptly & As Advertised

"I was worried because I placed my order before I read reviews here. I ordered a DVD of a French movie that has not yet been released for distribution in the US (Region 1 DVD Players). It came within the 5 to 7 Days promised. It is a French Blu-ray release that played fine on my U.S. Blu-Ray machine. DaaVeeDee provided me with a USPS tracking number so I could track it the whole way. I cannot speak to their return policy and the reports of unreasonable restocking fees because I am keeping the movie, En Solitare (Turning Tide). I am a sailor, and it is now my favorite sailing movie."

Horrible Customer Service and Shame on Amazon

"Beware of this seller on Amazon. First they list their foreign DVD's on the American Amazon site with as little detail as possible only enough to meet Amazon's guidelines. So unless you understand and memorize DVD regions, it is only then you would know that they do not play on American DVD players. When you return the product, there is no mention of any restocking fee. The restocking fee was 50% of what I paid for the product. I contacted the seller and told them I wanted my money back and what they did was not right and how they dealt with my situation would reflect the review I left. They returned an email to me saying not the Threaten them with a bad review, that it was against Amazon's policy. Seriously!!!! I filed a claim with Amazon, they told me that since the description said region 4 that they can't help me and the seller was within its guidelines. Shame on Amazon as well. "

Dishonest and poor customer service

"1. Seller is removing negative feedback and ratings....causing ratings to be deceptive. I have screenshots of my review and the review of another person with similar concerns, but 12 hours later both reviews are gone and I have no way to repost my review. Nothing in my review was obscene, personal, or otherwise prohibited. It was an honest narrative of my experience with this seller.

2. Seller's return policy is only a link to the Amazon return policy page....no added policies are identified. However, seller is applying a 30% restocking fee that is not mentioned in any posted policy

3. It was not clear that the DVD was not compatible with US DVD players. I have screenshots of the item description and the order details that do not show that it is a region 2 DVD. I have not received the item and went back to my order for tracking info...at that point I realized the issue and requested a return (before even receiving the product). Seller responded by telling me to buy a new multi- region Dvd player or accepting a partial refund.

"I bought a dvd from this company through amazon, and returned it,this company claimed that they never received it. I made the mistake of not paying for the return receipt request form because I thought I had to pay more than $3.00 for proof of delivery, besides I was buying through amazon so I did not think it was necessary. Since this company (daaveedee) advised amazon of not receiving the dvd back they refused my claim eventhough I had the receipt from the post office which clearly showed where the package had been mailed."
