"Had an oil change done here. When it came time for the next one I was not in the area and therefore had to have it done at a different shop. Your employee had used the torque gun to screw in the oil pan bolt. It cost me over $40 to have it removed and repaired. I most certainly won't be back. "
"The problem I had:
I arrive at noon on a Saturday. They say my car is next in line, so it wouldn't be long to diagnose it. We both agreed that it was worth it for me to stay because it was likely that the car needed an ordered part that wouldn't arrive until Monday or Tuesday, in which case I would I would leave with the car drive it until the part came in. 4 hours later a mechanic comes in and says "we may not be able to get to your car today". WTF???
If you can't get to it, tell me that so I can go home and stop wasting my time in your shop. If you can get to it, tell me that you will but it's going to be a little while longer. After explaining this to him, he says "okay, Ill see what i can do". 30 minutes later he comes back and says it needs a part that won't be here until Tuesday.
I strongly believe that if i had not been so stern about him giving me a direct answer (rather than the beat-around-the-bush BS he gave me at first) I don't think my car would have been diagnosed that day.
3 weeks later the engine light came on again.
Slim chance I ever return."
