"Extremely slow to ship. I've place two orders from them, and both times, they sat on the order for days (items were marked as "in stock"). They are the slowest to ship of all the online merchants I have ever dealt with - and that's a lot. Don't order from them if you need your items fast."

"Purchased from crocs.com 4 times in 2010. All transactions were smooth. Had to RMA one pair due to it being too snug. CSR walked me trough the rma procedure, gave me 30%off coupon code and $5off RMA code on the next purchase. Email follow ups were fast as well. Return shipping was free via fedex. I will surely do business with them again and recomment to all! Thanks goes to CSR Andrea and Melinda!"

"Crocs had a great sale on their "outlet" section of the website - buy one, get one free plus free shipping. I ordered four pairs of shoes for a total of $39.98. My order actually shipped pretty quickly and my Crocs arrived within the 10 day window. However, the box only had 3 pairs of shoes in it.

I tried calling customer service, but they were not open at 3:30pm PST (4:30pm MST) on a Friday, even though they're supposed to be open till 5 MST. I called again on Sunday at about noon (1pm MST), only to find out they're not open on weekends.

I emailed customer service on Feb 4th, no answer.
I emailed again on Feb 24th and finally got a reply this morning (March 1) from "Anna W." who said that the fourth pair of boots was out of stock and so the warehouse just took them off my order. She assured me that I wasn't charged for the boots. OF COURSE NOT!! They were a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and those were counted as the "free" pair.

Anna W. admitted that they simply removed the boots from my order, defrauding me, and because they were free and didn't owe me a refund. They never notified me or put a note on my invoice that this action was taken, they simply failed to send the boots.

Anna W. oh-so-generously offered to "preserve the sale" for me, so I looked at the outlet and found an acceptable replacement. I emailed the information to her and she said she spoke to her manager and they "have decided to send" the replacement shoes and that it was "a onetime action and has been noted on [my] account." How nice that they have _decided_ to fulfill my order as a onetime action -- as if I'm getting something other than what I ordered in the first place!

Crocs.com has lost my business forever. Don't buy from this site, just go to your local mall or REI shop or use Zappos.com to order if you simply HAVE to have Crocs. The prices are comparable and you won't have to deal with this dishonest company.

"Crocs has the worsttttttttt service I have experienced. I placed 4 shoes on 12/10, only received 2 on 12/17. I waited and waited till 12/29, I emailed. They replied me the other 2 were out of stock, so they refunded to me. However from the amount, they only refunded the price of shoes to me, the tax I have paid, disappeared. I emailed again. Then never reply!!!!!!! Cheated company, will never buy anything with them."

"I have made several orders from crocs.com. I did have an issue with their ordering system once and they can (sometimes) be a little slow to ship. Overall I've gotten some good deals with coupon and close-out prices and I've gotten the shoes that I've ordered. Overall I've been very happy with crocs.com and their products, which seem to be very durable. I have not had to use their return service though."

"The customer service at crocs.com is the worst I have ever experienced. I want to exchange my order for a smaller size. I have tried to call customer service. You cannot get through to a live person. I have e-mailed their customer service twice. I have waited over a week for a response. I am now 30 days into my 60 day return time frame. What a joke. It is no wonder their company is doing so poorly. I have never had an experience like this with any other company. I will think twice before I order from them again. I will make sure I share my experience with friends and family."

"Wow, I've never seen a company take so long to ship something or answer their phone. I'm sitting on hold now for a half hour and nothing. I've e-mailed customer service to check on the status and have gotten no response for many days now. My order status says they haven't charged the card, haven't shipped a thing. Guess they shouldn't have had a $14.99 Crocs sandal sale if they couldn't support it. What a "Croc" :). Not a good experience so far!!!
Oh wait, they finally answered! They said they're restocking and should have it out in a couple days. They're sending me a free pair of beach Crocs for my inconvenience. Guess time will tell if my sandals show up or not soon!

"I ordered from Crocs.com on 6/19. The stated delivery time is 10 days from order date. It is now 7/6 and my order still has not shipped! I have called and held mutilple times, sometimes for up to 30 minutes and nothing! The hold message keeps mentioning the ten days for delivery and increases your frustration level by the minute. I have also sent numerous emails and no response! This website is the worst I have ever experienced!"

"I placed an order for three pairs of Crocs sandals twelve days ago. There was no indication any of the items were back-ordered or out of stock.

I've e-mailed twice, without a reply, to ask about the delay. Posts to the company's internal customer service blog are responded to not by anyone who handles orders but by the guy whose job is to promote buzz on social networks.

The phones at Crocs.com are theoretically staffed Monday through Friday, 10-5 Denver time. It's a terrible on-hold loop tape.

When I called a few days ago and held for forty minutes, I did get through! I even got an apology for the delay and a promise to ship later that day. Of course, the order still shows "Not Yet Shipped," but as ultimately useless phone calls after forty minutes on hold go, it was very pleasant.

My wife is laughing at me. My three-year-old can't understand why he can't have his shoes and daddy doesn't even know why. This is the worst customer service I've had to deal with since Dell outsourced to India.

As a company, Crocs is in trouble. Revenues are down from last year, they've fired a third of their employees since the end of 2007 and they replaced the cashed-out founder with a Reebok retread in February. I understand the shoes are nice, but there's no way in heck I'd buy from their website again.

ETA: Package did finally arrive and the *product* is excellent. We would definitely buy Crocs again, but only if we can find them in a B&M store.

Edit 3 Jul 09: More fun! It took forever for Crocs.com to charge me for the order. I was about to call them and remind them to charge me when the charge finally showed up. Then, the next day another charge for $5 showed up for no reason. Three days later, another charge for $45 showed up for no reason. Of course, they don't answer the phone and they don't reply to e-mail. (Social network buzz guy says that he's working on it, but I'm letting Visa take a crack at it too.)

Edit 5 Jul 09: The charge-for-nothing that showed up today was for only $10. That's down from being charged $45 for something I didn't order, so I'm going to call that progress. Crocs.com - lowering the bar for customer service. Again.

Edit 10 Jul 09: A few days ago, I finally got a reply from a Crocs customer service manager apologizing for the mis-charges and explaining that the error was a series of entry errors by a trainee. The charges were reversed as of today and I am satisfied with the eventual resolution, if not the time and effort it took to get there.

As described above, Crocs is suffering and are in the middle of shutting down their Colorado distribution center to consolidate in Los Angeles. Crocs.com shoppers *may* have better luck in a few months, but this is one product I will be looking for B&M only.

To be clear, my family loves the shoes themselves. If you think they're tacky, I won't disagree with you but they're fine with us.

"Don't expect fast service from this company. They say 10 days to deliver and it's 10 business days at best. They apparently charge your credit card immediately. My order has been in their "processing department" for 6 days now and still has not shipped. A call to their customer service line resulted in a delivery date that is 14 days after the order. For an on-line order, this is pretty poor service. Stay tuned for the update if/when the order actually ships.

Update: 8-16-06
Still no e-mail notice of shipment from Crocs, but Crocs web site has been up/down for several days now -- it's back up now. Order status query shows shipment 8-15 but FedEx shows 8-16. 7+ days for them to get around to shipping the order seems excessive. Stay tuned to see what actually arrives in the box.

Update 8-19-06
FedEx delivered a box today. Despite assurances from Crocs that all items were in stock, they cancelled one item and re-charged the correct amount to the card. They did include an excuse letter about inventory system problems and a coupon number for free shipping on the next order.

I guess business must be really good at Crocs ! I wish they'd fix their systems, however...

Update: 12/8/06
Well, they screwed up another order. Again, they assured me that everything was in stock and confirmed the order. No further e-mails from them until the box arrived today --- nearly a 10 day wait again --- they seem to have a fixed 5-7 day delay from order date to ship date. Their web site still shows that they shipped everything I ordered, when, in fact, they did not. They put in the same "excuse letter" about updating their inventory systems and another coupon code for fee shipping on the next order. Ordering from crocs.com is a grab bag experience ... you never know what they will actually send you until you open the box.
