CRISPDEALS.COM is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. And, their service manager Tony is a foul-mouthed, lying crook!

I ordered a rack unit through their website, and paid through PayPal. FIVE DAYS after receiving a confirmation email, I get an email that says they're discontinued/out of stock.

However, on their EBay store, they still had 10+ units available, at a Buy It Now price $53 higher, and shipping was more than double on my CONFIRMED ORDER INVOICE. I was told if I wanted the unit, I had to buy it through EBay at the higher rates (hence the crookedness of this company) and pay the higher shipping!!

Rather than honour the transaction, they cancelled it - VERY poor business practice!!

CRISPDEALS.COM IS THE WORST INTERNET VENDOR I have ever dealt with, and I've been buying online since 2000, spending over $20k building up my mobile music business in the past 12 months alone.

This is not about $$$ - it is about principles, and this company's lack thereof.

You would be doing your friends a favour by warning them away from this site. If they can't be trusted to honour sales paid for immediately, how could you possibly trust them to honour issues or warranties?

If you want to know what this company is REALLY like, read the negative reviews and ignore the positive ones, which are often left by companies HIRED to flood sites like this with false reviews.

**** IN RESPONSE TO VENDOR REPLY ****

First, Tony (the respondent) is the SAME PERSON who told me I had to buy through the EBay channel, and that they WERE available, so the response is absolute nonsense. The did in fact have inventory, so they were using a bait and switch on the pricing.

Even if they were out (which they're not), the units are still manufactured and could be drop-shipped, as it should have been.

Second, even with what is written in response, CrispDeals.com has absolutely no idea what their inventory is, according to their own CSR manager and even after talking directly with an online or phone CSR doesn't know if they can honor purchases made in good faith. Do you really want to deal with a company like that?


There are a great number of vendor review sites like this, all with disaster stories of dealing with this company, so it's much better to stay away!!

I now have the Better Business Bureau in New York looking into their business practices so they are on record if you would also like to file a complaint. Please do, and help shut down this online vendor.

I also intend to contact their suppliers and inform them of the business practices to have their accounts revoked, starting with the manufacturer of the unit that started this. "
