"I ordered a Black 60GB Ipod Video on June 23, 2006 because I couldn't pass up the $319 price tag with free shipping. I should have heeded the warnings that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I have called coyotego several times asking about my order only to be told it will ship within the next 2-3 days. It's been a month! Now I can't even contact anyone at coyotego to complain since no one answers their phones. What a scam. I plan on CANCELLING my order when I can finally contact someone. Who knows when that will happen. I am extremely dissatisfied."

"My wife ordered a DVD from this place and immediately received an order confirmation stating the DVD would ship in 2-3 days. Three weeks later I called them and spoke to some clueless female who ended up putting some guy on the phone. He said they were receiving way too many orders. They expected maybe 150 per day and were getting 1500, so give them another week and they would send us a tracking number or refund our money. Eight days later and no tracking number and cannot get them on the phone. The order by phone number said, "The person you are trying to call has not set up thier voicemail box yet". Or something pretty close to that. What a joke! Steer clear! We will NEVER do business with them again. We are going to file complaints with the BBB and also the F.T.C. (Federal Trade Commission). I suggest you do the same."

"Ordered a Ipod Nano,6/21... checked back several days later(6/26) and still haven't received it, no change in status on the provided web link.
Called in on 6/26 and was told that it had not been processed yet, even though I payed in full via PayPal on 6/22.
I had to cancel the order as it was a time sensitive order for a birthday gift and was told they would not be able to make the 7/1 timeline.
I called back on the 5th and the cancellation was never submitted, so at that point was told that a refund would be issued via PayPal.
I saw the refund attempted on the 6th, but now see on 7/11 that CoyoteGo "Removed" the PayPal refund.
It has been two weeks since I requested a refund and was told tonight by a CoyoteGo CSR that Paypal is not accepting refunds from CoyoteGo?
He couldn't give me anymore info that that. I have filed a grievance with PayPal against CoyoteGo, and will be filing a Consumer Complaint with Patricia Madrid's office, the New Mexico State Attorney General, on Monday.

"I can't track my item's shipment because the shipper (****@****) sent me a tracking # that UPS doesn't recognize. The lady I spoke to at coyotego.com said they'd contact the seller and give me the correct # the next day. Never happened. If I don't get my iPod within the next week I'm cancelling my order and demanding that paypal give me back my money. To everyone using this site as a deciding factor to purchase from coyotego.com: don't do it, until they've proven that they can act like a legit company."

"After waiting a month, receiving tracking numbers,and even a tracking number that indicated delivery today, I made my final call to Coyotego. They were very kind on the phone and they said the tracking number said it was ready to ship and I should call next tuesday 1month+4days if I did not receive a new tracking number. This was my 12th and final call - I cancelled my order. Now I probably have to wait for a refund for a few days.

If they were honest and said: we are swamped and can't guarantee a delivery date, fine. I can commit to the wait or not. But they have been stringing me along for a month with false promises. Untill they get their act together, if they do, stay away or expect to be surprised when your order arrives.

I'm ready to pay the extra bucks and get my ipod in a couple days - or maybe tomorrow.

Whoever wrote the glowing review I read last month should be investigated. I'm so sorry if you are one of those "about to be shipped" orders. Get your money refunded and look elsewhere. See you there.

"I am shocked that anyone actually got something they ordered. My story is like the countless on this website that I just read here. Ordered a PSP, cheap price, lots of repeated promises of shipment and nada in the end. Spoke with countless reps by chat and phone (when it works). Now I see chat is down as well. I know all their reps personally - Blaire, Justin, Lidia, etc. Asked if this is a fraud, Justin even had the gaul of promising that this is not a scam and I would see my money. Before ordering, I called to get references, and was directed to eBay blogs for Larry Thompson, the supposed onwer of this virtual company. Reviews of him were positive, but I guess that was posted as a part of this sting. At first, it seemed as if I would get a refund, as in my PayPal account Larry Thompson's name (not CoyoteGo) appeared as having approved the refund. Then, it suddently and inexplicably was "removed". Fortunately, I paid through PayPal, and it is promising a refund after 10 days, unless the seller disputes my claim. Who knows with these characters - anything is possible. STAY AWAY!!"

"I have also experienced the same type of occurrences the writers on this page have experienced. On June 20, 2006, I placed an $84 order for 5 DVD sets (which, I might add, would have cost me $130 on Amazon.com). The confirmation e-mail appeared the same day. I looked at the current status of my order and noticed that everything was “in stock”, so I thought, wow, this is great: cheaper than Amazon and they have it in stock! On June 24th, I received an e-mail stating everything would ship in “4-7days”, to which I thought, no problem, that’s such a small wait time for a huge savings over Amazon. On June 25, I get another e-mail now stating the DVDs “will ship in 2-3 days”. I thought, wow, what a bonus; they’ve cut the wait time approximately in half. Everything was great until the 2-3 days passed without a working UPS tracking number or delivery. I then attempted to call the CoyoteGo customer service number (866-981-SHOP). The number didn’t work. I then tried to check my order status by trying to find where the “order status” button was on the web page. I never could find it. By now, I was getting very concerned. Finally, on July 6th, I’m forced to send an e-mail asking for either a tracking number or an update. CoyoteGo responds with two e-mails providing two tracking numbers, neither of which will work. On the 10th, I then responded with an e-mail stating I would cancel if I didn’t receive a working UPS tracking number by July 12, 2006 (because I couldn't understand what the hold up was for items CoyoteGo continued to show as being "in stock"). That worked, because CoyoteGo responded on July 10th stating two items would be separately shipped and arrive via UPS on the 12th.

They came through. By the 12th and 13th, I had two DVD packages. In the first package, the company included an apology letter and asked that I might consider posting some favorable comments on resellerratings.com. (Apparently, you guys are hammering CoyoteGo big time.) So here is my take on my experience with CoyoteGo: I wrote them an e-mail telling them I would NOT be canceling my order, in fact, I told them that if they complete my order, I will respond with an even bigger order next time. Look, I’m willing to cut CoyoteGo some slack, especially since they: (1) posted an apology letter on their company’s main page; (2) sent me a personal apology letter; and (3) asked that I provide some words of support on resellerratings.com. Why would a company send me two DVDs sets in separate expedited shipments, if they were intending to rip me off? (By the way, both packages were mailed from Albuquerque, NM.) Yes, I still believe in CoyoteGo, and I believe they will get their act together. Count me as 40% satisfied (2 of 5 DVD sets delivered) and a 100% loyal customer if they send me the remaining three DVDs sets in my order.

Oh, for those of you who are wondering, both DVD sets (i.e., "Alfred Hitchcock Presents: Season 1" and "Kolchak: The Night Stalker") were delivered in mint condition and have perfect sound and video quality. I have had no trouble playing/viewing either DVD set.

"I JUST WANT TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT COYOTEGO.COM. I PURCHASED SEVERAL IPOD VIDEOS FROM THESE PEOPLE ON THE 11TH OF JUNE. I JUST WANT TO TELL ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE. "The following discribes my sad story:(
I ordered an item on June 24th, the site stated that charges are not applied until the item ships. I received an immediate notification that my order was being processed and would ship in 3-4 days. Another notification stated it would ship in 2-3 days. After a week I called and was told it was in warehouse and would ship in a few days, because of the holiday it would be by the end of the week. I was to receive a tracking number when it shipped. Two weeks later I tried to call again. After several attempts and being dropped once I was given the same story the item is in warehouse and would ship this time no date could be given as to when it would ship. At this time I canceled the order. The rep “Mark” could give me no reference number or confirmation that a refund would be made immediately. He said I would get an email within 48 hours stating the order has been cancelled and a refund would be made to Paypal, but this might take time because their accounts were suspended currently!
I really hope that the refund will be made quickly as I now have to make the credit card payment by next week.
It is very unfortunate that the business practices of CoyoteGO undermine consumer confidence in internet shopping. Please restore my faith by making a prompt refund.

"I placed numerous large orders for IPods with Coyoego's owner. I was direct billed by the Owner (supposedly). I paid for 82 (yes, Eighty-two) IPods and and have received a whopping total of 9 (nine) in 33 days. I have been repeatedly lied to about shipments, etc. I have requested a refund numerous times with no success. Their excuse (now) is that they are afraid to refund my money because I may defraud them. What kind of insane double speak is that? They have the money. How can I defraud them if they have the money? They have now (supposedly) turned my "case" over to their attorney (who does not even reside in the same state as they are in) and I still do not have my money. Oh, the total owed to me is over $14,000. I only put this out there so others will know what they may end up dealing with.

"This company is successful in only one fashion, and that is ripping people off. I ordered 2 ipod videos and several accessories. After 10 days I called them to see what was going on, and they told me that my order was still in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. I became very annoyed at this and told them to cancel my order and credit my account (paypal). That was a week ago, and still no refund. I made a complaint with paypal and they claimed to try and retrieve the money, but said their was no money in their account. IF YOU LIKE MONEY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM."

"7/14/06 No change in delivery status of second order. Still showing as billed in UPS but no way to check if the items even exist. Full refund of first order offered by "customer service". Said it should be processed by Monday but I am not optimistic.

Update: promised overnight delivery of all items on 7/11/06. Received ONE today. Cannot get anyone to call me back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. I will also put this on the Yahoo merchant onine rating. I am also changing the one good rating I gave them on prices from very low to very high based on the time and long distance telephone calls placed to attempt to resolve this issue


Original Order Placed 6/14/06. Eventually received two of the seven items ordered after numerous calls and e-mails. Been waiting ever since for the rest. Cannot get a straight answer from anyone at the company as to when the other items will be available. I was stupid enough to order some additional ones after the two were received. I received an email that my second order was to be "shipped within 24 hours" but a company rep admitted the items were not even in stock although every one of them showed an "in stock status". The tracking numbers in the email were bogus.
This company has major problems but they sure know how to get a person's money quickly. Not a bad deal. They get to use a customer's money for weeks.

"The confirmation email reads: "You can always find out the current status of your order by going to..." but signing on yields only, "will ship 2-3 days." Contacting the company is an excercise in frustration--Lidia at customer service says she has only the information that appears on her computer screen and won't answer anything else ie: can the order be canceled/what is the return policy. "This website is horrible. i ordered on 6/18 and did not receive anything, i waited 2 and half weeks and nothing happened. My order was ready to be shipped for almost a week but never was shipped, BS. EXTREME DISATISFACTION. DO NOT BUY FROM COYOTEGO.COM. You are better off putting money in a bank, wait a year and that interest will be what you saved at coyotego.com. then take the money buy what you wanted and you would have received it faster than they deliver. Horrible company, employees, management, everything, sucks about coyotego.com."
