"Extrimely unhonest company. When I was looking for a gas provider for my new NY address I got their number. I' ve already established an account with one energy company and their agent was so sweet and gave me the Telefonica number of con Edison as a gas company. So I called them. They understood that I was an international student because of my English and thei tried to fool me. I am an international student but I'm not stupid that these guys don't get. If a person comes to a foreign country in order to study he can be smart enough to understand when people try to fool him. When I called and asked about gas service in my place they tried to sell me the energy contract. I told them that I just got one with another company and I only need gas service. Could you imagine my disappointness when they started to convince me that "they are the only one authorized energy provider in this area" . The lady was so rood and almost yelled at me that they would turn my electricity immediately if I don't start contract with them. First second I almost started crying, but then I just turned off my cell. I called MY company and the lady very politely told me that "that information is not correct, maybe that is the way way con Edison makes their business" I was so proud that in company where I've already had a contract people are professional, helpful ( tin order to help me a guy gave me con Edison phone) besides they are polite and honest. Be extremely careful with this con Edison company!!!!!"
