"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MERCHANT!!!

READ THE FOLLWING REGARDING AN OPEN ORDER SINCE 14 DEC 10.
UPON ORDERING IT WAS SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS- OK MY BAD, BUT THIS IS THE HELP I GOT:

I had sent you immediate notice - Directly after I had purchased the item on 14 DEC 10 to: ****@****' Attached are the emails I had sent to you. They’re dated before you had shipped my item. How come you cannot find them? Put in a request for reshipment to the USPS and have it shipped to me at the correct address.

Reply : “Sorry but the only email received from you was after the item was already shipped.
Received or Read?

“We shipped on 12/14 via USPS and we received your email on 12/17. Tracking# is 9101148008600556632926”

I put an inquiry in. I Tracked it through Springfield , MA to BELL GARDENS, CA December 22, 2010 at 9:06 am
Notified Computerlogin .com of my discovery . My reply?

Reply “Thanks for the update. I wasn't aware you can have it arranged this way. Hope you receive the package soon. “ Thursday, January 06, 2011

Reply ” It was shipped to the address listed in your PayPal transaction detail: (The wrong address)

I made an Inquiry made to post office again: Post office : “It appears that the item is in transit back to the sender in California. We ask that you contact the mailer at this point.”

Mon 2/14/2011 11:40 AM Is it there yet?
Reply: “Your item was not returned here. USPS online tracking indicates it is still in their facility in Bell. I'm in Laguna Niguel which is about 50 miles away.”

Saturday, March 12, 2011 10:59 AM Is it there yet?
Reply : “It has not showed up yet.”

It takes that long to get 50 miles from you? Exactly where is the post office. I’ll take care of that TOO

Reply : “It is in Los Angeles County and I have never been there. You may want to check with USPS and ask them why.”

"I read other bad reviews f this place but thought they couldn't really be that bad right? Boy was I wrong. This place is just awful. Bought a laptop fan here. I had to initiate contact with them after the purchase. Item arrived fine but does not work correctly. The fan stays on constantly even when the computer is turned off! The only way to stop the fan is to disconnect from power and remove the battery. I am not going to return this item because of the $10 return fee and the 25% restocking fee. Not worth the hassle. But that is their plan anyway right? Plus, they charge $10 shipping when the item only weighed a couple ounces. What a rip off. I am buying another fan on ebay for the same price but with free shipping. Do whatever you have to do to avoid doing business with this bad company."

"I ordered a power chord for my laptop from Computerlogin.com and it was shipped to my old address. This was partly my fault because I didn't verify the information Pay Pal had for the credit card I used. However, I contacted Computerlogin.com via email and explained the situation to them. They were prompt to send back a response telling me that once they got the package back I could pay an additional $9.99 for shipping and handling and they'd re-ship it. By this time I didn't need the item anymore. I sent them another email requesting a refund and they have yet to answer me. I contacted Pay Pal and filed a dispute with them but Pay Pal said they won't intervene in this situation until the buyer and I try to mediate it ourselves--through Pay Pal. I would not have purchased anything from this business had I known about the hundreds of horrible reviews they've gotten."

"I ordered an item and realized it was the wrong one. I sent them a request to cancel the order so I can figure out what adapter I need for my camera. THEY ONLY REFUNDED HALF. THEY CHARGED ME 10 BUCKS FOR THE CANCELLATION. Are these people kidding me? DO you think they maybe want to please customers so they actually order more items from them in the future. Instead they stab you in the back. THIs is a bad company and everyone should stop buying from them. "

"Purchased and received the SonyAC L10A adapter, used it once-it worked. Attempted to use it again and it was dead. I have tried to reach ComputerLogin multiple times to rectify the problem... no response from them. They need to refund or replace the item w/ one that works! I won't do business w/ them again until they make this pono."

"Computer Login...What can I say....This company sucks. Point blank period. I got an AC Adapter for my computer, they sent me a product that didn't work. I checked the voltage coming out of the product and it said 0...I wrote an e-mail to support telling them they sent me a useless product and I'm not going to pay $9.99 to return it. They say they will reply within 24hrs...What do I get in reply to my e-mail?? NOTHING! To return it, I'd have to pay 9.99, to get another product in return, another 9.99? Thats around 30 dollars in shippin for a 13$ product-don't think so. This company is a rip off and they will never get my business again. I will be sure to spread the word.

Update: I just e-mailed them again, will I get a reply? Most likely not... If I do not get a response within a week I'm going to take further action.

"Ok, some of you folks scared me AFTER I placed my order.. I thought, "How could a company that had nearly 53,000 positive comments on ebay have as many negative things said about them as I found AFTER ordering?" So while I was waiting for my order I decided to contact the company and "test" their customer service. Guess what? The website has only ONE way to contact the company - via email. There's NO customer service number - so I started to worry about my order. I sent them an email and asked for a tracking number (which they did NOT provide previously). They responded IMMEDIATELY with a trracking number and a pleasant email telling me when to expect my delivery. The item (laptop power pack) arrived quickly, the price was a FRACTION of anywhere else, and IT WORKED !!! I'm happy with computerlogin.com, however, they REALLY need a customer service phone number on their site and they need to email the tracking number automatically without making us ask. Again, think about it - they have nearly 53,000 positive commnents on ebay. And with my experience with ebay - it's a place where it's important to keep your reputation up - which they undoubtedly have done. RECAP: Fast delivery - UNBEATABLE PRICE - website lacks contact info - they do NOT automatically provide tracking numbers. I'd say, give them a try & see for yourself... Yes, I'd use them again !!!"

"Great transaction, totally satisfied!
Usually, only customers with negative experiences take the time to vent and right a review.
I had already order when i read these reviews and became very suspicious of this company. However, the power adapter for my HP laptop was such a good deal ($13.99 instead of $70 at HP) that I wanted to wait it out. I though, they must still be in business for a reason. For about 4 business days I checked my mail anxiously and was expecting the worst. On the 4th day my adapter arrived. Not the usual professional packaging but it did the job. No manufactures box just the adapter. I carefully plugged it into my laptop and it worked. I have had the adapter for 2 weeks now and cannot complain.

To me personally ComputerLogin is a no thrills, dirt cheap but obviously risky company. My experience however was positive throughout.

"This item was ordered on 2006/09/11.
This seller is horrible! I purchased this USB/Firewire card (http://www.computerlogin.com/sales/productfile/Y_USB1394PCI.html) . On that page you you will see it still clearly states "MAC OSX compatible." I put it in my mac, it did not work, and two weeks later I get a one line email saying "not compatible with mac." I have all the documentation to prove our correspondence and purchase too!

I even tried it in 5 different PC's running Windows XP and Server 2003 and it didnt fully work in those. Not to mention the CD they sent was damaged because they poorly packaged the item.

You will also notice the mailing address is a PO Box and there is no phone number. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE STORE!

"Wish I'd seen these review before I placed my order. I ordered a replacement power supply for my laptop. They sent me the wrong one - I immediately emailed them explaining the problem...

...Almost a month later, I've emailed them about 10 times and they've completely ignored all of my emails; I'm going to write to them at the address listed on their site and if I don't hear back within two weeks I will also be reporting them to the BBB in the hope of recovering the money I spent.

I hope this review helps other people to choose another supplier.

"I bought an AC Adapter for my LCD monitor from computerlogin, and was told I would receive it in 8-10 business days. After waiting 12 business days, I emailed asking when they shipped it out. They claimed to have shipped it out on the day after payment, and provided a bogus tracking number. After repeated requests for them to contact USPS, they only claimed they contacted them already when I threatened a chargeback. They then told me that they wouldn't send me a replacement until 30 days. After waiting the 30 days, I emailed again, with no response. I filed a dispute, and two business days after, they sent me an email saying that USPS returned my item, and they would "resend" it to me for another $9.99. HA! The status on the bogus tracking number has not changed at all: 9101 1480 0860 0258 6057 54.
Overall poor communication, poor service, very unprofessional, and shady business practices.

"I ordered a part from them, they sent me the wrong one. I figured they would make good on it but instead they ignored me. I contacted them moer than 10 times with no reply ever. I sent the part back but they say they never got it. 3 months later and after filing a complaint with the BBB I get half a refund! These guys are totally dishonest! I don't know how they can get away with this and keep a business license! "

"I received what I ordered about a week after they received payment. The reason it took so long to ship was because the part was shipped from China, though the company did not tell me this before I ordered. The company also does not offer individualized customer service, making the whole process a matter of suspense.

My experience was overall positive, but I can't give a high review for a place that uses only form letters for customer service and offers no way to track delivery of merchandise.
