"The good: I ordered two 256mb sticks of Corsair pc1066 RDRAM on 3/1/04. The order was received within two days - excellent service.
The bad: The sticks were listed as the last 2 in stock. BOTH modules turned out to be DEFECTIVE (per memtest86, prime95, windows memory diagnostic). They wanted a 15% restocking fee + $25 for internal testing! I'm sure these sticks had already been returned defective, and oh so conveniently placed right back in their inventory(restocked). I'd stay away from this reseller, trust 'em about as far as you can throw 'em.
Solution: RMA'd the maufacturer(Corsair). Received 2 quality memory modules within one week, free of charge, and 100% error-free."

"Ordered $1,000 worth of hot swap scsi hard drives from this company for my server. Company did not send the hot swaps, sent wrong drives. Called to follow-up, none of the sales people or customer service spoke english. Company did take the UNOPENED merchandise back, but charged 15% RESTOCKING. Would not exchange for the correct drives. I lost $150 plus shipping on this deal. Will not ever choose their company again! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE foreigners. No English, bad deals, Bad customer service, restocking fee for their mistakes!"
"I was looking for a Cooler Master Wave Master case. Did a search on Pricewatch.com and found ComputerHQ had the best deal. They also advertised in their Pricewatch ad that they accept PayPal payments, that was a BIG plus to me also. Found their online ordering easy to use. "In the past I didnt have any bad experience with ComputerHQ, but today I did. I needed parts quickly and both their website and a salesperson with whom I spoke stated they had the products in stock. I placed the order in the AM and did not receive the notice of backorder until after 630 PM. All things said, it's probably a good thing for you I can't. I have read through at least a hundred reviews regarding your site www.computerhq.com today. Although I logged on to your site initially to make a purchase, I have since changed my mind. The key factors to this are,
#1- in all the negative reviews, I never found a single case where your company tried to set anything that had gone wrong right. This is not terribly uncommon in on line retail, easy to dismiss customers and most of them don't know how to fight back.
#2 - your RMA policy is ridiculously one sided and limited. If I received an item that is defective or I am not happy with, I have to pay you to restock it, or to test it. AND I have to abide by what your testers find. That agreement makes it too risky for me to buy, I am a very competent PC technician, I have assembled hundreds of desktop units. I would not just want to trust the findings of a tech who has obvious reasons to find nothing wrong with the product.
All in all, I will just pay a few extra dollars for the 14 - 17 extra days that most on line retailers offer for returns, and also avoid a silly restocking fee. I am not saying you don't have satisfied customers, I can attest to the fact that you do, I just don't feel that when you have an unsatisfied customer you do nearly enough to try to rectify the situation.

"Yesterday we order 5 hard drives. Your company took our credit card information for the order. We then were told, you only had 1 hard drive. Later this same day, we were told you had more drives but now the price jumped 60 dollars.
We purchased these same hard drives a few weeks ago and the price was 70 dollars cheaper.
Yesterday, I would call what happened to us, bait and switch. Sears Roebuck got in big trouble over this many years ago. This is an illegal sales tactic.
I feel you should honor the price we were purchasing these hard drives at yesterday morning. As it stands, we incurred another 240 dollars in charges.
Not very customer friendly.

"I was treated rudely and got no satifaction when I tried to return a Memory flash card I purched as a gift for my granddaughter. I am a senior and can't afford paying twice for an item. I will report Computer HQ to all comsumer groups I can. I am very disapointed that these people are into ripping off seniors.
