"*****UPDATE on worst customer service ever!******
***UPDATE*********-I received a call from the owner of Comptick on 6-16-10. I did appreciate the fact that he tried to rectify the situation by refunding our money right away! He emailed an RMA label the same day and the wrong part they sent us is on its way to them. He also made some more offers to our company to further rectify the situation. I felt really good about how it turned up, until one of my technicians received a call from Comptick today, 6-17-10. Comptick asked my technician to relay some information regarding the reviews that I posted about my experience.
I fully planned on amending the reviews, after speaking to the owner on Wed., 6-16-10. I wanted to amend my posting regarding my TRUE experience with Comptick.com and how they tried to rectify the situation. The only thing I didn't appreciate, was when Comptick said that they would post bad things about my company, if we didn't amend the reviews. I'm hoping that was just a MISCOMMUNICATION however as I'm sure that Comptick would NEVER do a thing like that. To post false things about a person or group would be slanderous. As a business owner, I understand how negative feedback can affect business, but I wouldn't threaten another's company's reputation by putting out false information just because they wrote an HONEST opinion about their experience with Comptick. I'm sure that Comptick wouldn't stoop to that slanderous level however, just because I am exercising my Civil Liberties as a Citizen and US Consumer. Because that would call for legal action which I'm sure neither company would want to go through (since my experience can all be backed up with phone records and numerous emails).
Which leads to this, I appreciate the efforts made by Comptick to rectify the situation posted below. They also gave our company a $100 credit for future repairs. The message from Comptick they left with my technician about posting bad reviews about my company left a bad taste in my mouth, but again, I'm sure that was just miscommunication. These people tried to rectify the situation as soon as they can. Thanks Comptick!!

Actually no customer service at all! My company purchased an LCD Screen from Comptick.com for the first time. At first, they had it back ordered, but took our money anyway claiming that they would have it in and shipped out within two days. When we finally received the LCD Screen, it was the WRONG one! So for the next few days, I try to call the company's 800 number listed on their website. I am not even exaggerating....NO ONE EVER, I MEAN EVER answered their 800 line. I was starting to get really really suspicious. I filled out an RMA request on their website and the message claimed that I would receive a return label via email in a few hours, but I never received it. Finally, a few days later, someone finally responded to one of our emails. At first this mystery person (they never gave me their name or singed their email) told me that the part they sent was "compatible" to the part we ordered. Why couldn't they just send out the actual part we ordered?? Anyway after some explaining, this person on the other end of the email admitted that "they sent us the wrong part completely." I explained that this was for one of our customer's laptop, and requested that they overnight the correct part. This person said "they will see what they can do" but to make a long story short, they didn't even have that part that we ordered in stock to begin with. I wasted a week of my time, my customer's time, and time in general just dealing with this company! Don't waste your money with this company because all you will get is a headache! Just punch yourself in the head if you want a headache because at least its free. Dealing with this "company" has been a complete NIGHTMARE!!!! I still haven't received that RMA label so that I can get my money back. There is something very, very crooked with this company and I want the world to know. I run my computer repair business with the highest of customer service and we want our customers to be satisfied with what we do for them. It seems like this company doesn't even care. They just want your money with no exchange.

"Ordered a replacement Toshiba keyboard on 9/22. Received it on 9/25. Fast service, but it's an international layout with different Enter and backslash keys instead of the US layout shown on their web page. Emailed ****@**** on 9/25, no response yet on 9/30. Update: Phone always went to voicemail until I tried sales. They wanted me to use their return web form, which I had tried, but like everything else it hadn't responded. They manually did a return, sent me a prepaid UPS return label, and eventually refunded the purchase on 10/25."

"Excellent! Ordered 8/3/09, received 8/7/09. Free shipping. I ordered a new 9 cell high capacity battery for my Dell E1705. Dell's price $156, Comptick $65. I was nervous, as I previously bought a battery from an evidently bad operation on ebay, which lasted only 30 minutes between charges. The original Dell lasted 2 1/2 hours. I am very pleasantly surprised. At just over 2 1/2 hours on my new Comptick battery, I am typing this review!"
