Very bad company to deal with ! Don't buy there

"Bought accidentally a ice maker over amazon and saw my mistake and canceled it immediately. Got a mail from then that he could not cancel because it was already shipped. In about 5 min. It's either the fasted company on earth or they lying their **** off. Then I checked with UPS and they told me the company shipped it one day after I canceled my order. SO BUYER BEWARE !!!"

Unreliable and dishonest

"I ordered a hand mixer on January 21. Then CA sent me an email telling me to contact them about my order. I called and spoke with someone and they said there was no problem and my order would be shipped. (still not sure why I had to call.) My credit card was charged on January 23. Compact Appliance had my money for 4 days -- AND THEN they sent me an email to tell me it won't be shipped until FEB 15!! So -- they want to keep my money for A MONTH before they even ship my item. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS ARE THEY RUNNING? What a load of bull. Don't order from them -- find somewhere else to do business."

Horrible customer experience

"Worst customer service ever. Called to order a trim kit for a microwave oven. They said they had it in stock. I placed the order. Within 24 hours I got an email that it was backordered from the manufacturer. 8 weeks later still no product. They I get an email that it was shipped but the tracking number is for a carrier I've never heard of who has no information on the order. A week later I get an email that it was delivered - except it wasn't. I call customer service. The guy says he needs to research it and he'll call me right back. Never calls. A week later I call to cancel the order. I order the same part from ABT.com. Get delivery in 5 days. Use ABT.com for appliance purchases. They do a great job caring for their customers. "

I would never deal with this company again

"My window A/C arrived with damage. There was a delay because my first email did not go through (I had attached too many pictures) , and then we left on a four week road trip without my having noticed this problem. When I returned I sent a second email with only three pictures and it did go through, but there was no response. After a couple of weeks I emailed asking for a response and got none. After another week or so I retrieved an email from Compact Appliance saying that they would take no action because 30 days had elapsed since delivery. I called Amazon and registered a complaint. A couple of days later C A sent me the same message they had initially sent, asking for the same information I had already sent. I sent it. C A folded and I received a refund. Then I belatedly checked the internet and found this website. Lesson learned."

Order number: P0258994 I purchased an 85 bottle Avanti Wine Refrigerator on January 15 of 2014 (AVT WCR8500SDZ) as well as a 5 year warranty (NLF APP5U1500). The Wine refrigerator is no longer working. What do I need to do now in order to get the refrigerator repaired under warranty? Thanks much!

I have heard NOTHING from them for the last five months. I called them and they indicated that they had been bought by another company and i would have to contact them. I was then transferred to someone that couldn't help.

Stay away from Compact Appliance and buy local.

Will only deliver to the curb... WTF is that?

"Never once did I see or was informed that the refrigerator would be dropped on the curb. I spoke to the customer service rep multiple times and NEVER once did she say the delivery would be left on the curb. It advertises "free delivery", but need an asterisks stating delivered to the curb ONLY! Who does business like this?

Seamless service!! Would buy from them again!

"My Washer/dryer combo came ten days from order date, costed $750 dollars less than if I bought it from local store, and was delivered to door step. Item was in perfect condition.

The reason for my review is that I ordered from Compact Appliance first, and then checked the reviews. Was a little bit scared by all the terrible reviews. I did contact customer service when it had been several days and my shipping status hadn’t changed. They were very helpful. What I learned was that since this is freight shipping they have to wait until there is a whole load to ship, which makes sense. The people I talked to called the freight company, and followed up with estimated dates of shipping.

My order came faster and cheaper than anything I could find. Customer service was great,and my product was perfect. I would definitely recommend them and buy from them again

This company makes fraudulent statements about their business and policies

"I purchased a part and the website did not list any further parts which were necessary to make the item function. I requested a return under their return policy which is as follows: "We understand that occasionally a customer will purchase an item that does not fit their needs. We are committed to working on an individual basis with our customers to solve any issues and provide the best possible service. If you are not 100% satisfied, you may return your order to us within the first 30 days after delivery*." After applying for a return I received an email stating my return request was denied. I am 0% satisfied and they have not fulfilled their statement as advertised on their website. "

I think they only sell dented items

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. What ever you buy will arrive dented. Packaging is a joke and I told them not to RESEND fridge unless it was double boxed or wrapped. Didn't happen. Broken door shelf and a BIG dent/ding in center if freezer door. Looks horrible. "

worst experience and customer service ever

"Horrible service . I wish I would pay attention to the reviews before my purchase. As well as so many of these reviews, they lied about length of delivery time . The returning process is even worst. I have talked to 3 different representatives and they keep passing the ball. I got the box damaged and the product is dent at the top. The unit is also making really loud noises, that I can hear it while sleeping in my room. stop and go every 3 minutes, and the company says this is pretty normal. Still going through EDGESTAR warranty process. Avoid this company at all costs. The store stopped taking our calls or answering our emails. In particular, Zachary, who had been so nice and responsive prior to the sale, and later just was ignoring all my calls and emails.

Horrible service and liars

"As with so many of these reviews, they lied about length of delivery time as well as that fact that it would be delivered into the home. It was dropped on the curb. Luckily we had some great workmen at the house who helped us get it inside. Avoid this company at all costs. We realized that this was going to happen once we got the delivery notice from FedEx but the store stopped taking our calls or answering our emails. In particular, Veronica Carousos, who had been so responsive prior to the sale, completely disappeared. "

BUYER BEWARE

"BOUGHT A WASHER DRYER UNIT THAT NEVER WORKED. NEVER COULD GET FIXED. AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY HAVE NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH IT. I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH FROM COMPACT APPLIANCE, TO EDGESTAR, TO SOME WARRANTY COMPANY CALLED NEW LEAF. THEY WANT TO SEND ME A NEW UNIT THAT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK. I AM AT MY WITS END AND LOST 906.00 IN THE DEAL. YOU HAVE TWO COMPANIES HERE THAT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE PASSING THE BUCK FROM ONE TO ANOTHER AND IN REALITY, THEY ARE THE SAME COMPANY. "
