"Order wrong part they wouldn’t give me a refund or exchange product "

"TL;DR - Don't let some of these reviews sway you from ordering from them! Most likely the bad reviews stem from user error and Climate Doctors didn't want to eat the cost for their mistake.

Long Version. -
So based off all the reviews here I was VERY hesitant in ordering from this company. I finally got over it and gave them a call. The support rep was very knowledgable, polite and took his time talking to me. I asked him why they have such bad reviews online and he said "You know, homeowners (that aren't technicians) order parts that aren't compatible with their system and get really really mad when we won't take them back as new..." He went on to say "We can't accept open-box returns without a large restocking fee because once opened we can't resell them as new. Once they're installed we absolutely cannot accept them as a return because we don't know what the homeowner has put that part through." Made perfect sense to me!

I ended up ordering a new Rheem replacement EON blower motor from them which was costly (~$550) but they had it cheaper than anywhere else by literally hundreds. I installed it myself and my system is now back up and running without having to pay the insane fees some of the HVAC techs were asking for... I also ordered it via next day and found that their shipping rates were better than anywhere else also! I had my part NEXT DAY before noon via FedEx. No fuss no muss. Great experience!!! "

"We ordered a drain kat through amazon on March 21st I asked when will this item arrive i was made aware it was delivered on March 14th and Tracy claims it was signed and a drivers license was shown by an employee who has not been with us for a year. I sat and watched our cameras on March 21st only to find out it was just dropped off on March 14th no signature and placed on another box in our lobby. I picked up the box which was poorly wrapped in a hammer mill blue and white paper box cut to appear to look like wrapping paper and went to the shop to open the box with another employee only to see the handle was broken off. We took the drain kat out of the box to find more pieces on the bottom of the box. the bottom of the drain kat was also broken RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, the front cover also had a crack in it. I sent Tracy MANY photos of this entire encounter showing we found the box where the delivery guy left it until the 21st when I opened it. Tracy was notified right away and the drain kat was sent back. I told her it looked used and was broken now Tracy is claiming we switched it which we didn't even have one anyway hence the reason for buying this one. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Tracy has the worst customer service. "

"I had purchased a garage heater from climatedoctors through amazon. I did not use the heat at all! I was such a issue to return the heater. Every time the seller was contacted they would redirect me to amazon.. Finally amazon gets through to them and I return the product. I paid $445.18 for the heater. They refunded me $241.37 stating the was missing parts and not return with the original packaging. What a SCAM! they got their heater back and kept my money. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. "

"I bought some AC units from Chris at Climate Doctors. After payment they said the price was miss marked so I agreed to pay the 25% uncharge. Then they don't return my calls / emails and now are saying they sold the units to another buyer at a higher price. Chris was Rude and Very Unprofessional. Hands down the worst supplier we've worked with."

"These people simply suck. I would never order anything from them. They just want your money and run. I ordered a circuit board for my heater, a few minutes later I canceled it, because of misdiagnoses , they acknowledge the cancellation and never shipped it, but charged to my credit card any way. I had to write & called them so many times, They promised to refund many times, but they never did. They simply suck.

"These guys are the worst!!! STRONGLY advise NO ONE to buy from them as you'll get burned. I ordered a doorway fan to move warm air from the room with my wood stove to the rest of the house. After trying it for a few hours over a couple of days, it did no better than normal convection at warming up the house. I contacted them for an RMA and, I quote: "I am sorry but we only accept returns on new and unused items or if the item is defective." So if the item doesn't work as advertised or you just plain don't like it, TOO BAD!!! Probably my fault as I did my research after the fact and their return policy clearly says they don't accept returns on any electrical items (which is pretty much everything the sell) but come on, it's two days old, in perfect condition, original box, etc. Pls tell all your friends to they don't make the same mistake I did. I'd give them a zero for satisfaction, but that's not an option, so they got a 1. "

"In a follow on to my below review, the first power supply I ordered they "claimed" they processed a refund to my paypal account. PayPal shows no refund. So I emailed them again, no response this time. So I created a dispute on paypal, and still no response. Paypal closed my dispute with no refund, so I'm processing a refund through my charge card, and paypal can kiss my butt.

I ordered a new power supply for my honeywell air cleaner. What arrived wasnt the part number I'd ordered. So they took it back, and sent me out the proper one. (Proper being what I was told by the hvac guy doing the repair).

What I didnt know, was the hvac guy was a clueless idiot, and upon arrival of the new powersupply, it wasnt the correct one either. They arent even close.

So I fired the current guy, hired a new guy, and he gave me a completely different power supply number.

So I looked on climate doctors site, but they didnt have the one I needed, so I ordered locally.

I figured since they took back the other power supply, they'd take this one back too, but then they started quoting their return policy, which to paraphrase, basically says if you buy it, there's no returning it. Whether its still new, unopened, etc, you bought it, its yours.

Great, so I contacted them, they said they'd consider a return with a 25% restock fee, and thats the last I ever heard from them, even when I asked again about it.

So since my credit card has return protection, I used that, but you may not be as fortunate.

Climate doctors prices were the best around, but you'd better be 150% sure you are ordered the right thing, or that great price wont be so great afterall.

I would rather pay extra, and buy from a merchant that at least has a return policy, so learn from my mistake, and shop elsewhere."

"On their website I placed an order for a part. I specified shipping by fedex ground, and unchecked insurance (fedex includes up to $100 insurance). However, when they charged credit card, they charged for insurance as well. I contacted them by email and indicated that insurance was not ordered and not needed; they then canceled the order without any response. While there's no loss on my part except lost time, still the practice of refusing to correct own mistake, insisting on overcharging, and canceling the order when it's pointed out, is troubling - the merchant refuses to do business if not to overcharge the customer."

"i bought the item on monday and received an e-mail on thursday that they was back ordered untill july 10th and when i ask for a refund he said to do it with pay-pal and wait for the 30days or else wait until he sent it to me and hung up on me WoW is this anyway to be "
