"I ask them to return the computer the day I received it. the computer was not in good shape at all. they told me to see with sony who didn't solved my probem. then when I tried to return it again they refused, saying that the 10 days return period was over."

"DON'T BUY FROM CLEARANCE CLUB IF YOU WANT YOUR ORDER. Ordered a Sony Clie the website said was in stock. Spoke with customer services and they said it was shipping (paid $40 for overnight shipping). Never got it. Turns out they were sold out and tried to sell me a refurbished version of the NEW product I had bought. They wanted over $30 more for the refurbished version."

"Beware of anything you're told on the phone from these people. They promise one thing after supposedly getting 'approval' from a supervisor, the deny anything was promised. After an offer to cover shipping charges for a *second* DOA item, they went ahead and charged me for shipping twice and even tried to charge for a DOA item they received back!"

"Bait and Switch Tactics! Ordered a Sony laptop for $1049 that was indicated as "In Stock" on the web page, and immediately received an order confirmation. The next day I received the following email:

"Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately we have sold out of Sony
PCG-FXA33 VAIO $1049. I do not have a specific date of when this item will
be back in stock. The closest match I found was Sony PCG-FXA49 VAIO
AMD® Athlon® 1.2Ghz 512MB RAM (512MB max) 30GB HDD 15 XGA TFT 32x
CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive V90 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet Windows XP Home
Price: $ 1389/Refurbished . Please inform me by 9-17-02 with your
decision or your order will be cancel."
I returned to the web site and they STILL have the unit listed as in stock! This is CALSSIC bait and switch- bring you in with a low price, and try to upsell you to the tune of an additional $340 (almost 33%)!!!!!

"Ordered a refurbished Fujitsu LifeBook P-2040. Didn't see whether it was in stock in the ordering site, but received the next morning an e-mail from the marketing manager indicating it was out of stock and offering the next model up and a small discount for my trouble. Checked the specs and asked for a slightly bigger discount which they immediately accepted. They (or some warehouse) shipped that day and promptly sent tracking #. The machine was received when expected and was absolutely perfect.

A top-notch outfit as far as I can tell and I'll deal with them anytime. Maybe they've cleaned up their act?
