Horrible Customer Service

"They sent me the wrong item and wouldn't take responsibility for the return. I asked for a refund, since the shipping takes so long. They told me I could only get a refund it I paid to ship the wrong item back. They wouldn't provide me with a pre-paid shipping label. I would understand it I had erroneously ordered the wrong item, but it was their mistake and they make me pay for it."

"Stay away from this company. I ordered a screen protector for my wife and I on 08/18/13. Regular shipping that was supposed to be here in 5 to 10 business days. 12 business days later I track the package and it never left the sorting facility. I contacted Clarivue and explained my situation. They told me this can happen from time to time. I have already waited half a month at this point so I requested expedited shipping of a reorder since they lost the first one. They tell me they will ship another one and will provide me with another tracking number. Well, I receive no follow up email with tracking or even an indication it has been resent so I follow up myself. The message I get is "your package was resent on 09/05 and should be delivered in 5 to 10 business days." I have already waited over half a month and they didn't even expedite the shipping of the second package after having a full understanding of the time it has taken since my order. Further they still have not provided a tracking number and at this moment I am still waiting for these to come in. I wish I could comment on the quality of their product but I have yet to see it!"

"Ordered set of lcd screen protectors for a cellphone and camera, tried to return cellphone screen protectors due to defective cellphone but advised I would be charged a ridiculous $3.00 "restocking fee" for each item returned, no exceptions. After disputing the restocking fee, decided to return all merchandise to this seller, pay the "restocking fees" and never do business with them again!

Unused, unopened items returned to seller (in original packaging) via USPS First Class mail. More than two weeks later they deny receiving any package, even after they alluded that they had received it in an earlier telephone call. They also deny any knowledge/responsibility of the additional "Foreign Transaction Fee"(FTF) in the amount of $.70 charged to my credit card account. The FTF fee was apparently charged because my credit card charge had been routed to Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - which is apparently their secondary address and where their parent company is located.
I contacted my bank card holder and requested a charge back on all charges with this vendor. Found several other complaints of this same nature at other websites, including "ResellerRatings.com" It is recommended to avoid any business with this company! Additionally, the "Lifetime Warranty" on their product is pure "fluff"......they have a 30 day return policy and furthermore, what are the chances anyone will have their cellphone or other electronic devices long enough to really need the "Lifetime Warranty"?

"Terrible.

I ordered a protector for a Garmin 60CSx. The website said they were custom cut to fit. When I got it, a week later, it was just a generic rectangle (that only covered the view screen) with no curved cuts (to cover all the edges). The CS person said they only made it a rectangle due to the corners "peeling". That was not stated on the website. Their video shows an iPhone with a screen protector that goes all the way out to the edges, covering 100%.

If I wanted a rectangle, I would have just used a piece of packing tape.

On the return, they wanted to charge me $3 for "restocking fee". Chargeback done instead.

"Placed the order for the product 15 days ago, my credit card was charged right a way with an additional foreign transaction fee of almost 5% but no products yet. Don't have any idea how bad the products are but customer service... bad."

"I have placed an order for three packs of screen protectors on 6/3 for about $30. It was processed on 6/5 and shipped on 6/9. For some reason, Post Office has not delivered the package to me (verified that the address is correct) and returned it to Clarivue. Upon contacting the support line, I was offered to have the package resent or being charged $9 as restocking fee. I am traveling the next day (6/15) and will not be able to pick up the package for some weeks so having the package sent is no good to me. I asked whether they would like to see my travel details (to show that I am really unable to pick up the package in case it it is sent) and whether a restocking fee is warranted in this case (since neither Post Office's act of nondelivery nor a travel date set back many weeks back is a fault of my own). They were, however, completely unwilling to understand my situation here and insisted that a $9 processing fee is charged if I request a refund.

Their support chat system also has issues in that it does not email the transcript, even though the page shows that the functionality exists. One has to copy/paste the text to keep a record of the chat.

Due to this very cold attitude towards its customers, this is the first and will be the last of my business with Clarivue.

"Only ordered a screen protector for $10.99 for N900. Fits fine. Not the best but pretty good. I'm relatively pleased. Strange shipping though. Ordered 5/18 and received "shipped" email on 5/19. Finally got it 5/27 in envelope with postmark of 5/24. Granted the shipped email said "5-10" days but c'mon. Was it *really* shipped. 4 stars. Docked one star for strange shipping. Everything else A-OK though."

"Great selection of products. I ordered two cell-phone screen covers and both are perfectly custom fit. Shipping was much faster than I expected, as they have a Canadian distribution center. Ordered on a Wednesday, had the goods by Monday. I would buy from them again."

"Be very careful ordering from Clarivue.com (also jhongsinc.com and caraccessory.com, all 3 have the same Chineeze owners). The screen protectors that they offer are generic sized but represented as being an exact fit for a given model device. Also, when it comes to customer service and returned orders, they will rip you off if they get the chance! All around they are a very dishonest company, don't send them your money! "

"RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE AND CAME IN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. HOWEVER, IT WAS A GENERIC 2.5 SIZE AND NOT CUSTOM FOR CANON SD800. IT WAS TOO SMALL.
