Cheaptickets.com is the worst of the worst

"The worst service and they are not the cheaptest at all
They will never pay for thier mistakes
Been on hold for fice hrs with diff call centers
They are horrible and should be shut down

"I purchased tickets for an event on cheaptickets for adjacent seating from the seating I'd already purchased 3 tickets for at a large venue with ticketmaster. All of the other reputable ticket vendors had no tickets. Somehow cheaptickets did. I didn't question it because it looked reputable and I'd just discovered that more would be traveling with us and we'd need more tickets. The tickets were about $15 higher each for the same seating. A message said that you would receive confirmation and the e-tickets a few days later. On the day that the tickets were to be delivered I received an email from a third party that due to error the tickets that I purchased were not available but that they could give me alternate tickets that were higher than the ones I purchased. We'd already checked for additional tickets for more guests and only general seating was available at the very top (nose bleed) section. This was the same section of the alternative tickets offered. I emailed both the third party that e-mailed me and copied cheap tickets customer service that this was unacceptable and that their protocol and phone number only giving you the option to say yes or no that you want the alternative tickets (no customer service to talk to you to try to explain or resolve the issue in a friendly manner) was too coincidental for an unexpected error. In my interpretation, the message and voicemail option implied basically, "We don't have the tickets we advertised. We have nose-bleed at the same price. Take it or leave it!" The third party never responded back. Cheaptickets did with a generic email basically stating "unfortunately the tickets you purchased were not available (Blah, Blah, Blah). Your credit card has not been charged or you will receive a refund." My credit card has been charged by another party and I have yet to receive a refund. I let cheap tickets know that and requested I be immediately refunded. I've never used cheap tickets. I never will again. I plan to ensure noone else I know or they know or they know will use cheaptickets either. It's a holiday and a number of us are traveling far. We can't have some attending the event and leave others, who are really too young to wonder the streets, out and about until the event is over. So It's certainly not the $$$$. It's the principle of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISREGARD FOR THE INCONVENIENCE THAT THEY HAVE CAUSED. The lack of integrity and accountability that many businesses demonstrate with consumers who, if it were not for consumers they would not exist nor would the jobs of many who work for them, is disheartening and should be legally regulated. If your solutions and alternatives are nothing more than a gesture that we provided an alternative solution (where we still get to keep your money and you're still inconvenienced but HEY, at least you still get to go!!)you should be held accountable."

"I had a great experience with Cheap Tickets until recently.

I booked a hotel that looked from the map on cheaptickets that it was at the center of the city (of Beijing). After booking, i realized that their map was wrong and the hotel was far outside of town...too far away for it to be of any use.

I cancelled my hotel and got what looked like a refund confirmation from cheaptickets. On my next credit card statement, I noticed that the hotel charge was still there.

I wrote cheaptickets and asked for a refund, but they said I could not get a refund because too much time had passed.

I asked them to at least change the wrong location of the hotel on the map, but they have not done that either. I no longer trust them or want to buy tickets or make hotel reservations from them. And they were such a nice site. Too bad they don't know how to take care of customers.

"Called and didn't get ahold of an operator. I waited 20 minutes (yes I had the patience to wait that long) and decided to hang up afterwards.
This is why I stopped booking at Cheap Tickets.

"This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I registered and to check airline ticket pricing through them, but turns out I was able to get the airfare for less elsewhere and never went through them.

Lo and behold, 2 years later, they slap me with a bogus hotel reservation. The credit card the hotel had taken and everything else did not match. But they somehow linked it to me. When I tried to dispute their claim, they outright refused to send me any documentation of the incident and sent me directly to collection. I'm flabbergasted that CheapTickets would not respond to any inquiry whatsoever into the incident.

I'm currently in the midst of litigation with them. It's for only an $100 claim, but it's the principle of it. (Also, if you just pay the collection agency, it is recorded as a mark on your credit report.)

I would be cautious to sign up and try their services if I were you.

"This is the second time I've booked a trip with CheapTickets and the process was as easy and quick, the same as it was previously. I went to Thailand in February and I had zero problems with my flight or my hotels, booked through Cheaptickets. Because of this experience, I booked another trip today and expect the same results.

As expected, my reservations were booked and confirmed within a few hours. In addition I contacted customer care by email with a question I had in the evening and received an answer the next morning. I am very satisfied with the level of service I received and would definitely book another trip through this service.
