"I absolutely LOVE Chadwicks! I have never had any trouble with returns when there was a problem with the merchandise. If I felt I deserved it, for an error of theirs or dissatisfaction with the quality of these merchandise, I simply requested free return shipping and I ALWAYS got it.
The quality of the clothing is top rate. When they still left orginal maanufacturer's names on their products I was astonished by the familiar brand names. Now, they just have their own name on everything but the quality is still tops. I used to be a retail manager, and believe me, I know quality. I have rarely been disappointed by Chadwick's and just about everything I wear comes from there. P.S, Their sales are not to be believed especially with coupons. Highly recommend!

"Ordered HANDBAG for mother in law from them. They shipped that leather bag in plustic bag through UPS to USPS. They put 3 catalogs on top of that bag. As result the bag was creased by those catalogs and shipping handlers. Beside the bag had small black dots on the side, and color was different than in picture. They charge shipping fees for returns of defective products."

"Ordered my stuff on Sunday and it came on Wednesday. (Ground Shipping). Prices are very resonable. I used a credit card issued outside of the US and they accepted this type of payment, which is a huge plus. Only wished they sold men's clothing."

"Chadwick's is very hit and miss with me. I've gotten some great stuff and some really hideous stuff (it's funny how it LOOKS different in the catalog). I honestly never returned anything (just gave it away) but the stuff I did like was excellent quality and I only paid like $10 tops for it. I continue to buy from them, with caution."

"this place is the worst i ordered some items for my wife it was a great bargain that i got 7 items free with any order but my order was cancelled and never went out i still recieve their stupid catalogs each one said free with any order no where within the fine print did it say anything about one free item per order can somebody say false advertisement i myself will never order one thing even if it is a piece of penny candy from this distrusting store"

"Same problem as the previous 2. Chadwicks offered a ridiculous offer they didn't and probably couldn't, make good on.

THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SHOW UP ON MY CREDIT REPORTS!!! HARVESTING INFO WITH FALSE PROMISES AND BOGUS COUPONS? GET LOST CHADWICKS!!!

"Well i did the same order as the other review here. It was an unbelievable offer for three items with coupon codes, vanity bag, carry on bag and make up bag for my wife for $1.49 w/free shipping. I was amazed to see such an offer and filled out my order promptly.

I did not received any type of email showing confirmation of my order ( which gave me a bad feeling) then get a postcard telling me the order is on back order and would be shipped out within 3-4 weeks...well ten weeks later i finally call them and ask whats up. Was on hold for a good 15 minutes and spoke with their rep named Fred. Fred tells me the order has been cancelled by management because other items should have been purchased to get this free offer. Actually he said a lot of things that kind of contridicted himself noting that the coupon codes were from a third party site. Yes they were ( Slickdeals.net ) but so what, you can search for coupon codes on almost all online companies with a quick internet search.

Bottom line is this company doesn't honor its business. If your ordering from them for Xmas time I would worry about receiving what you have ordered or not being informed of a cancelled purchase. They obviously didn't care enough about my business to rectify my problem.

"I just wanted to let everyone know how horrible of a service chadwicks has. I got this email after I ordered a pair of leather gloves from them and was suppose to get a free trolley luggage bag.

here is a copy of the email:

Please accept our apologies, as we cannot ship your order for a free trolley bag. The offer for
the trolley bag requires a purchase. The offer was incorrectly communicated by several
websites. Chadwick's has no affiliation with these websites. We have requested that they
immediately remove the unauthorized offer.

We invite you to take advantage of the trolley offer. Please place an order for at least one
item with Chadwick's and you will qualify for a free gift. This gift is a wheeled carry-on
trolley luggage piece. An item number must be entered for each item purchased and the free
gift.

If your order contains two or more items from Chadwick's, you qualify for the free wheeled
carry-on and you may also purchase a backpack for $2.99 with the appropriate item numbers.

If you order three or more items from Chadwick's, you are eligible to receive the free wheeled
carry-on, you may purchase a backpack for $2.99, and you may purchase a matching vanity case and

Remember I did make a purchase of a pair of gloves, so this email states that with one purchase I get a free trolley, with items i get etc.

Avoid them!!!

Update: I did get it sorted out and got them to send me the free carryon bag. Another down side is that they have no phone number that I could find on their website, so you have to email them and so that takes a day or two for them to get back. Slow service all the way around. Also shipping took 8 days to get here because they shipped it via UPS to my local post office and then the postal service delivers the item to you.
