"I ordered and received a replacement extended capacity battery for my cell phone. The transaction went smoothly. However, the product never worked according to specifications.
For example the battery was listed with a stand-by time of up to 240 hours. In real life, the ‘as new’ battery stand-by time was only about 72 hours. The original Siemens battery had a stand-by time of about 168 hours. So the ‘extended capacity battery’ did not even meet the performance of the standard Siemens battery.
I managed to deal with this poor performance for a few months. Finally, I contacted the company about a repair/replacement under their warranty. However, they refused to honor the warranty published on the website. Instead, they would only offer me a 33% discount on a replacement purchase.
Given that their ‘as new’ product did not come close to their published specifications, I was not interested in making an additional purchase."
