"This is a poorly organized shop ran by unprofessional and ill-coordinated buffoons.

I was trying to find an in-ground electric dog fence to meet the needs of my small dog. I had settled on the Innotek SD-2100 and was seeking the best price online. Everywhere I looked (including the manufacturer's website) seemed to be back-ordered on the product about 4 weeks out. In searching Google, cardinal pet supply seemed to have the lowest price at $158 (over $200 elsewhere). It also had the back-order date set at only 2-weeks out. Great! Before I ordered, I called them directly to confirm the re-stocking date. I could not get a person, so I left a message. They called me back within a few hours and I spoke with a lady who said she had asked the "warehouse manager" and he had confirmed that the product should be in within 2 weeks. I decided to place an order through their website.

To my dismay, the shipping costs were over $22... Outrageous, but still cheaper than anywhere I had found so I placed my order. After my order, I looked the product up directly from their website and I was confused when I saw the price had shot up to $183.79. I checked the shipping cost at this inflated price and found it was under $7... So I felt a little "taken", but I had already placed the order. I found that by changing the URL from .htm to .html yielded different prices and shipping costs. Interesting...

When the re-stock date came and went, I sent them an email asking if the product was in and when it would be shipping. Predictably, they replied stating the product was not in stock and wouldn't be in for a few more weeks. This was disappointing since I had called to verify the re-stock date before I purchased, but I figured I'd mention something about the inflated shipping they charged me. Maybe I could get a little return for the false expectations they had set. I asked them to keep my order active, but if there was anything they could do about lowering shipping costs, I would appreciate it.

Their reply was polite, but aggravating:
--------------------------------------
"We can only pass along the dates we get from the manufacturer, so to be clear, any false delivery expectations are the fault of Innotek. We can't be responsible for their inability to keep the dates they publish.

If you ordered on our site through google shopping you have a discounted price and regular shipping. If you shop directly on our site you get the regualr price and discounted shipping. Either way the total cost is the same.

I don't want you to feel you have been overcharged for shipping. Since the item is on backorder you should shop around and get the best deal you can.

I have issued a Refund for $180.57 to your VISA."
--------------------------------------

Refunded? After I specifically asked them to keep my order active"? My reply showed my disappointment and I asked them "where do we go from here"? They never replied so I called. They never called back so I wrote them a final email asking they keep my order closed because I found the product elsewhere.

They finally replied to my email with one word: "meh"

Wow really? Meh? You guys obviously run a tight ship. Very professional. These guys are jokers. They have horrible customer service and they do not stand behind their business. I'll never order from this website again, and I hope no one else does either. Here's hoping they go out of business quickly.
