REALLY poor response to customer concerns

"After several small orders, I placed an impulsive order based on a seasonal sale offered on their website. When I received my order, I was amazed to find the cards I received were all foreign, and all in different languages. I could not even find most of the cards I received in the CK website, but going to other websites, found, even if I had any desire for any foreign language cards, my return was 12 cents on the dollar. I contacted CK customer website, stating I had no interest in stopping a magic hand to translate a card for my opponent in the middle of a tournament. I received a generic response of how the purchase was "...are cards we cannot sell in our regular store,..." and that the packages contain "...some really random..." items. Really? Foreign cards are so little a part of your business you don't list them, but my entire pack was foreign cards, and you are willing to charge me for items you admit you cannot sell in your store?"

Perfection from start to finish

"I recently sold about 200 cards to Card Kingdom for store credit. Some of the reviews on this site had me expecting an unfair grading process once I got the cards to them. So I took some pictures and I personally graded my cards based on their descriptions for each level before I sent them off. Their grading was exactly what I was expecting for almost each and every card. They were completely fair and prompt. Like, exceptionally prompt.

I have also turned around and purchased many cards from them with that store credit and their condition was also consistent with their descriptions. I think some people were put off by their grading having different names than the other site, but the condition was exactly what I’ve come to expect from their grade level.

They’ve been nothing but efficient and courteous in my interactions and transactions and I will be confident in doing business with Card Kindom again!

Awful Condition

"Their card graders are the absolute worst. There is no consistency in their grading. NM cards shouldn't be worse than "Good" cards. Don't even bother with this place. "

Damaged cards

"They think it's ok to sell damaged cards as "nm" and claim it's manufacturer defect. This happened to me multiple times on expensive purchases. If you want clean cards for your collection shop somewhere else. Dishonest business!!!"

Lost Order

"I placed several orders with Card Kingdom for magic cards and I received the first 3, my 4th shipment was lost but I still received the 2 orders I made after that one. They didn't help whatsoever and told me I would have to wait 21 days before we could even launch a complaint. This was very disappointing because the cards I bought were all meant to go together in different decks. So now I have 3 incomplete decks thanks to Card Kingdom and will have to wait an additional month at the minimum. I won't ever order from Card Kingdom again, I would recommend Star City Games if you're looking to buy cards onlines. Better prices and I've ALWAYS received what I ordered.

Helped resolve my issues in a professional way

"I had shipped overnight delivery, but failed to see that it wouldn't arrive when I anticipated due to my own error of ordering on Thursday night. I also didn't get a confirmation email, so i was worried about my order. I called in and spoke to Grace, and she helped resolve the issues in a very professional and courteous way. She made it easier than I expected it to be. Thank you very much Grace, I hope the company takes notice of your customer service."

Top Notch Customer Service

"I am a new MTG player and was ordering $20 in cards (so I don't have experience with expensive orders/valuable cards/counterfeits). There was a problem with the payment, and I received an email within 16 hours of ordering about it.

-Called on Superbowl Sunday, a receptionist answered within 20 seconds. Ash talked me through exactly what needed to be done.
-Called again to make an adjustment, Ash answered quickly again and completed the task while on the phone with me. The problem wasn't resolved, but it was a problem on my end, not CK.
-Called the next day to cancel my order (in order to reorder with a different card), but Elisa was able to change my payment method (from credit card to PayPal) without cancelling the order.

Ordered 29 NM and EX cards, all were high quality and indistinguishable from my new preconstructed EDH deck. Wonderful and flexible customer service. Cheers to Ash and Elisa for their patience!

Card Kingdom was the worst buying experience ever!

"My son spent about an hour picking out several cards he wanted for his holiday gift. I placed the order for him on 12/26/17. My son was very excited to receive his new cards. A few days later I get an email saying "for MY security" they need to verify my identity because this was a first time order and that the shipping address was different than my billing address. (My son goes to boarding school so the cards were shipping directly to his school). They wanted me to email them a photo of my credit card and a copy of one of my utility bills. I had never heard of this and was a little annoyed. I also thought at first it was a scammer trying to get my credit card info! I was traveling on vacation and had no way of sending them a utility bill. We had placed another order for a few more cards and I also had my sister buy my son some additional items from the site he wanted, so it was no longer my first time order. I emailed them telling them that, but still they would not place my original order. Finally, after going back and forth by email/phone, and it was already Jan. 2nd by this time, I just told them to ship the order to my billing address and I'll mail them myself to my son's school. The still refused to place my order and actually told me to go buy them from their competitors site! I will happily do so and NEVER go back to Card Kingdom again for any reason. Buyer beware of horrible customer service!"

Loyal Until The End

"My partner and I (both in Australia) love Card Kingdom. We make large orders every couple of months and I have always been so impressed with the quality of the entire experience. I love the deck building feature, the custom tokens and most impressively - the turnaround time. Last month we made an order that was in our hands within 5 days (including a weekend) and it blew our minds. The customer service is excellent and we will continue to be loyal customers.

SLOW Shipping

"Terrible shipping and packaging time. I paid for Priority shipping (2-3 days according to their site) and will be receiving my cards in 5 days due to slow packaging on their part. I asked that they refund my shipping due to the delay and they refused."

"After a second time selling to these site I was quoted a price less than half what the cards were worth on multiple sites (TCG) and then I was given 30% less than that. Will not be making this mistake a third time."

These guys are awesome to buy from, terrible to sell to.

"If you want to buy cards, Card Kingdom is the place for you. They have almost everything you want in stock and ship very quickly. But, if you are selling to them, let the fun begin! I sold them over 50 cards, most had never been played. Others were always sleeved and had no damage. Well after their "grading" I was given less than half of price they had quoted me, I will not be selling cards to them again. Not sure if I want to buy anymore either. I emailed with questions as to why, they still haven't responded.."

Excellent Experience Selling Online

"I was looking to sell an older MtG set and polled several of the online companies. Card Kingdom came back with a very reasonable offer and I received excellent service from my buyer contact throughout the entire process. I'd definitely use them again!"

Slow as molasses. Terrible card ratings.

"Traded in cards on their buylist and placed an order with them. I don't remember it being this bad the first time, but it was a long time ago. Service was SLOW as it could ever be. Once my cards arrived there, it took them 7 days to process them and credit them to my account. They downgraded a number of cards in my order, which I'm positive were damn near perfection. Then i ordered cards from them, which was much faster, but the cards i received were **** poor quality. I got an expensive card that was marked at NM which was clearly not NM, and many cards that were rated excellent were below that. If you order anything below excellent from them, expect the cards to be crap. While we're at it, lets talk about their ratings system of Near Mint, Excellent, Very good, and Good. Cards in the good category are pure ****. This would be a 'damaged' or 'heavily played' rating on TCGPlayer. Why call them 'Good'? they are not. This is highly confusing and highly deceptive wording. Their 'very good' cards would be moderately played on TCGPlayer, and their 'Excellent' cards would be 'Lightly Played' on TCGPlayer. The only difference being that most 'Lightly Played' cards i order on TCGplayer are actually NM, and damn near perfect...so why do I pay MORE for WORSE cards on CardKingdom? Well, I won't again. There is no reason at all to order from them, when there's a higher quality at a much cheaper price on TCGPlayer.

Overpriced. Terrible card quality. Deceptive and inconsistent card rating. Slow service.

Will not shop here again.
