"Ordered items and was contacted that i lived to far away after paying $17.18 in shipping that they suggested we cancel order and i re-order for faster shipping so my items wouldn't melt with the cold pack and insulated box. instead of just sending a pay-pal invoice for the remainder shipping i had to re-order. I also asked if i could send her my own label she said yes but would still have to re-order to shipping off because she couldn't just refund partial order. So had to cancel the entire order as this was just getting way to complicated to order colored candy off the internet. "
"I ordered the 64 pack of chocolate liquor bottles for favors for guests for my daughter’s wedding. The 64 pack box is such a great value and will be a great hit with our guests. Who doesn’t like chocolate and liquor?
Unfortunately the best used by date is after the wedding and I am going to have to exchange them.

"I reordered the cinnamon jaw breakers I had previously ordered. They were originally what I wanted. They were flavored cinnamon but not hot. When I was running low, I reordered using the same item number. When I received the order they were so hot that I could not finish one. I had the candy less than 1 day and I only tried 1 piece. I called immediately and was told there was nothing they would do. Very disappointed. "
"I was looking everywhere for unique candies to have for a baby shower. Although I found some of what I wanted a various websites, candywarehouse was the only place that had everything I wanted - pink puffy poles, pink ribbon candy, pink jooblers and pink starbursts. I received my order within 2 days of placing it and everything was packed so carefully and tightly nothing squished or broke. "I ordered candy for an upcoming event (doing a candy buffet). I read their warm weather policy & did everything they suggested to avoid problems with candy melting: I paid $9 extra for the "insulated box" which was literally a waste of money! It was nothing more than a cardboard box, lined with sponge & covered with thin, foil paper! Needless to say...when I opened the box (which was IMMEDIATELY after it was delivered... I heard the door bell ring & got my text alert)... regardless... one of the pkgs. of candy was ripped... pieces were spilled out in to the box & mixed with melted ice... and the other candy was extremely soft & melty! The ice pack (there was only ONE)... was completely melted & the inside of the box had to have been close to 90 degrees or more! I attempted to call the company right away & not only did they not answer... but there wasn't even a way to leave a message! I emailed them & it took TWO DAYS to even get a response! Then... after reading these reviews... I checked & lo and behold... no expiration date on any of the candy! I am NOT a happy customer & would not recommend this company to anyone! I am in the process of disputing the charges on my cc."
"I ordered all pink candy for a candy bar for my birthday party, 5lbs of M&M's, 5lbs of Hershey's Kisses, and several tubs of pink coated cherry flavored pretzels. I was very skeptical after reading so many negative reviews so I only ordered these three things, thinking I wouldn't be happy with it but Candy Warehouse had it cheaper than anywhere else. I'm sorry I bought the rest of the candy I wanted elsewhere.
I ordered on April 18 and it was delivered April 21 -- super fast. The candy was packaged extremely well and with care. The shipping carton was very strong and had a bright sticker on the outside "Protect From Heat" The candy inside was protected with air pillows and even a cold pack.
All of the candy is fresh, even the pretzels, and I am very pleased with everything about my order. If I ever need candy in bulk quantities again, I will order from Candy Warehouse.
And no, Candy Warehouse did not ask me to write this review.

The glue on the box flaps was so old it no longer kept the flaps sealed.
The expiration date is CODED.
Candy Warehouse pushed the blame to the manufacturer, Tootsie Roll, for the coding and packaging.
No refund because the candy expires in four months ( two year shelf life).
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company or Toootsie Roll."
"Run for your life!!!!! I ordered an item that read 850 pieces of gumballs. My order arrived today and i received a 2lb bag. I immediately contacted customer service and i have never in my 50 years of living encountered such nasty and unhelpful individuals. i was literally on the phone with one representative who kept placing me on hold or calling me back to no avail. When asked to speak with a supervisor, i was sent to a voice mail. i kept calling back and speaking with four different reps and was finally told that there was a gliche in the system and that the supervisor had left for the day. I ordered $500 with of candy for my daughter's sweet sixteen and i would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this company as it uses the bait and switch method. Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE"
