"This company vanished in June...do not send them anything for repair !!!!!!!!! In May I sent them my camera for repair & spoke with the tech to make sure they received by camera and understood the problem with the camera. They have no responded to emails since then, they don't answer the phone, and they don't return phone calls. The Better Business Bureau cannot reach them.
STAY AWAY!!

"My Canon PowerShot SD850 IS inexplicably locked up with a "lens error" message before it closed down. I tried the DIY methods I found online and then came across somebody on YouTube who posted a very positive experience with C&P. So, I bought the coupon for service at 79.95 (with discount) and sent my camera to them. I called them after almost a week and my camera was fixed and just about ready to send back to me. The fellow I talked with explained what went wrong and how it was fixed. Four days later I had my camera back. The total time was less than 2 weeks. I can't speak to the dissatisfaction posted by others. I can only attest to great service and a wonderful job C & P did in rescuing my dead camera. I am very happy with this company and if I find myself needing service again, I will not hestitate to send them my beloved camera.
I do not work for this comapnay nor was I asked to write a review. I am writing to offer my experience in gratitude for the outstanding work that was done for me.

"I sent my Canon G12 to be repaired to Cameras And Parts in El Paso, TX, and I never got my camera back. I called and emailed repeatedly and they kept promising to fix and return it to me, but this never happened. They have my camera and the $89 I sent in as payment. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in TX; there are many other complaints filed there against Cameras And Parts."
