We ordered samples and compared it to samples of a number of other products we got local. We were blown away with the quality and the look of the product. "We love our Cali Bamboo fence. The bamboo is so much better to look at than just about any other fences we have seen. The fence was put up due to a property, easement issue with a neighbor. After we found that he would rather us remove our rose plant, than to sell us an easemnt, we felt that we needed to go ahead define our space. After we installed the panels and completed it the last day, our neighbor came home and did a triple take--looking at our fence. He went out of his way to tell us that the fence looks real good. We want to create a tropical or Zen style outdoor "staycation" backyard. The bamboo provides a very beautiful backdrop for all kinds of plants, flowers, fountains and other decortive elements in the landscape. We are in the planning stages of a master bath remodel, and we really want to include bamboo paneling or slats in the bath, maybe a ceiling? Cali Bamboo has a great selection of products. "My landlord just installed Cali Bamboo's Kona Fossilized wide plank bamboo floors in our cottage and I have to say I've been pretty thrilled with the whole process. It didn't take long (we did it with our landlord who's also a friend of ours) and the end result is BEAUTIFUL!
We live by the beach so there's a lot more moisture in the air. This means it was super important to acclimate the floor boards before laying them down. This meant we had to lay them out in our living room for about 3 days so they'd get used to the environment. My landlord (also an obsessed home improvement guru) says you have to do that to any wood floors, not just bamboo. We also had to make sure there was a moisture barrier between the planks and the subfloor -- especially important in a flimsy little beach cottage.
Anyway, the floor boards were very dense (heavy!) and super high-quality and have yet to be scratched or damaged by either our large dog or by constant sandy feet. We live in San Diego so we just picked up the planks ourselves instead of having them delivered and our whole experience at Cali Bamboo was great! Really friendly and helpful staff. We got some good tips on how to best install everything. I would highly recommend them."

English is not my mother tongue. So I had to make the representative repeat often, to be sur that I understood correctely. Speaking a foreign language is not easy on the phone. He was very patient and very kind. We exchange a few emails to confirm to each other what we understood. Representative is very professionnal. Price was good, including shipping to Quebec, Canada. He was able to give me a quote, including broker's fee and taxes. So no surprise at all. Quality of material is very good.
