"This daycare is absolutely filthy. I would recommend doing some first thing in the morning surprise visits. I get there about 7:15 and pick up right around 6 PM and the floors and tables are gross and you can tell they haven't been cleaned in awhile. The center smells like it hasn't been cleaned and my sons socks reflect that. When I pick them up at 6:00 most of the teachers are gone and the center is disgusting. I have an infant that has been sick since she's been in the center and we're going on 5 months. I've never seen a mop or broom in there. Nothing around that indicates the baby beds were cleaned, the dirty covers on the bounce seats have been pulled off and cleaned...nothing. You can see the dirt on the toys and it's just disgusting. My daughter is crawling and the tops of her socks/shoes and her knees are always dark from the dirty floors. When you walk in the entry way to go into the building there's debris on the floor and the rug inside the door is covered with small particles of whatever, it's very clear the carpets haven't been vacuumed in some time. I've picked up my kids at 6:00 and came back in the morning to see the same trash can overflowing with trash, trash on the floor, and the same dirty tables from the day before. There's no excuse for this. I've been in the directors office her it's no different than the rest of the center. There's trash and dust bunnies all over floor... very unprofessional. I'm glad I received this email because I was getting ready to call and file a complaint about the cleanliness of the facility. The kids are always sick, and I know that's just part of being in daycare, but my daughters been sick for 5 months straight and been to the doctor over at least a dozen times and I can't help but think it's because they aren't cleaning the toys and equipment or moping the floors and there's bacteria everywhere. As much a I hate to move my kids to another facility, I think for their health, it would be best."
