"Overall very satisfied with the school. The teachers are nurturing and caring and seem to know all of the children in school. One thing I was not happy about was when the school was closed for an in-service day we had to pay tuition for that day even though our children could not attend by your choice, I had to take a vacation day from work. Daycare is very expensive"

"Recently, the school has undergone a change in leadership, and it seems to be showing. The atmosphere has changed and feels no longer like the warm home that I loved when we first joined. The maintenance seems to be lacking - even when looking at the calendar copies, you can see that the copier needs maintenance. There are only a few teachers that have a wow factor (in order - Arlene, Paula, Samina, Parna, Lina) about them, the rest seem uninterested in meeting the parents that walk through their classes. For a long while, I didn't even know some of the teacher were employees of Childtime - thinking they were volunteers or parents. During the past week, a meet the teachers board has been hung up and this has helped. A word regarding the leadership: normally, there would be a staff member in the morning to talk with about concerns. That person has not been available for a few weeks. The closed circuit security TV is always off in the mornings. The door to the kindergarten room often gets stuck open due to an issue with the floor. All of these concerns are simple fixes, however, they do not get addressed. I would treat this school as I treat my home and take pride in it. I feel like the pride is not there (with the exception of Arlene and Samina's classroom). Please do not interpret this incorrectly. I respect the caregivers and I appreciate their work. The last year has been not as good as the previous years - maybe it's growing pains. This school has so much potential. Give parents more information about the caregivers so we feel comfortable and can side with them when issues arise. Provide the center with an improved maintenance budget to fix the issues (and potentially a maintenance schedule to take the guesswork out of it.)"

"The school is generally set up to benefit its corporation, rather than delve into the concerns of the parents. It seems as though there is very little opportunity to change if either a policy or practice is disliked."

"Moving to ChildTime has been the best decision for my family. Every member of the staff is extremely friendly and professional. I never hear gossip between teachers which was a detractor from our previous daycare. Every teacher greets us daily by name. The teachers display behaviors that demonstrate they WANT to be there. They are caring, patient and loving to each child. They genuinely have a passion for their jobs. I feel very comfortable leaving my child there on a daily basis. Thank you!!!"

"Jeanette does an amazing job with the limited resources provided. I have seen, as enrollment has increased, a decrease in the creativity of the projects the friends have been doing. I'm not sure if this is due to the increase in friends or staff turnover. I have extremely high regard for this school, the management, and the teachers. Jeanette has really created a global experience where I know my children will be cultured and accepting of all. I love this school from the depths of my heart. I could not trust any other set of professionals with my children as much as I do here at Childtime Hillsborough."
