"The first time I toured this school I got a great vibe and had an overall good feeling about it. I toured multiple schools and knew immediately after touring Childrens Courtyard that it was the one. The staff is so sweet and kind and my children are happy when they are there. They have learned so much and learn more everyday. The teachers seem to genuinely like their jobs which makes for a positive and safe feeling atmosphere for my kids. We feel extremely confident that when our kids are at school, they feel loved and are well taken care of. It can be a scary thing to leave your children in someone’s care other than your own and to trust that your kids feel safe and happy. I can’t say enough great things about this school and the staff. We would highly recommend them to everyone!!"

"Fantastic until the recent change."

"We are extremely pleased with the staff at the school in both the preschool and Clubhouse. They are friendly and professional and are what are currently keeping us with CCY. We feel the corporate office’s choice to close the school age building was a disservice to the staff, school and students though. The Clubhouse is extremely crowded, cramped and loud and we fear if it is like this during the school year it will be considerably worse in the summer when enrollment is up and the kids are there all day long. It is bearable for the kids for a couple hours a day, but it is not ideal for kids that big to be squished into those rooms. They also lost the bigger playground equipment that was more suited for their age. The separate game room, theater room, science room, homework room, snack room all created an environment that kids could be excited about and also give them room to relax away from everyone else when needed. Unfortunately, now everything was basically condensed into 2 rooms. The Advanced Pre-K program has been shuffled to a small room and if they fill to ratio capacity it is simply not fair to those children, the teacher and does not create an environment conducive to learning. The Advanced Pre-K program seems like an afterthought cramped in a corner. The parking lot is extremely crowded as all the staff and parents are trying to park near the one functioning building. When the buses are parked ready to load or unload it creates further congestion and blocks the handicap spots."

"The only reason we are still enrolled is because of the current teacher in our child's classroom and he will only have 8 more months before leaving. We have been extremely disappointed in the extra add on fees that are mandatory (if mandatory, why are they not included in the weekly tuition?). Construction going on inside the building has been a distraction and a mess. Kids are now in a room half the size as before, it is seems like chaos. For weeks, there were not enough cubbies for belongings and bags/coats were on the floor. Now they are combining both buildings into one which means even less room...interesting that our weekly rates aren't going down as it seems the cost to only operate one building would be much less. Outside play area is old and not current compared to other daycares that also have sun shades over all structures. Although, I realize not a requirement, there used to be consistent parent night outs and those have gone away. We now utilize ones at other daycare's. If it weren't for the current and previous teacher in our child's room, we would have left shortly after the last director left."

Also, adding a second Staff Training closure (MLK day and now Veterans Day) during the typical work week is an issue for those of us who rely on you as a sole source for childcare."
