"I ordered a 2007 Acura MDX Steering Rack and pinion. I spoke to a representative before ordering and I was assured that the part will fit. I ordered and received the part. I scheduled an appointment with the local dealer to install the Steering rack and pinion. I brought to them the new part received from Buyautoparts.com. They took out the old steering rack and attempted to install the new one. After almost 3 hours they could not install the new part because it did not fit. Obviously I had no other choice and asked them to re-install the old steering rack. This was a Honda/Acura dealer and they did try everything possible. Buyautoparts.com system is deceiving customers. I ordered this part in good faith and the part did not fit. This horrendous experience cost me almost $700.00 in labor. I called buyautoparts.com and they said "we are sorry". You can ship the part back on your own cost ($90.00). This is totally not acceptable and I will not agree with this. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!
Advise: if you buy from this online vendor expect that the part you order WILL NOT FIT! "
"I just spent over $700. I bought AC compressor and a turbo for my car. The compressor come with no paperwork to inform me if it had or or not. I had to call three times to try and get an answer. Now the turbo I purchased the exhaust manifold housing is so poor and out of shape it won’t even fit the car because it hits the intake manifold Again, I called for Support and asked to speak for a manager. All I got was no one is available and then they finally hung up on me. I will never buy from this company again. I asked for technical support and they just ignore that every time. I guess there’s no such thing as technical support with this company."
