Don't BuyBreaks here.

"First of all slow shipping no communication. When my order did arrive 10 days later I received a banged up re-taped box with the break pads out of the package and my rotors MISSING. This is the second time buying from this site and both times where HORRIBE experiences. I'm currently speaking with support and asking for a full refund. Lets see how this goes."

No communication

"I ordered a set of rotors and pads. I received a email confirming order and taking my money. Then for 5 days nothing not shipping info no order update. I then call in and they tell me everything is in stock and they would see why it hasn’t shipped and get back to me that day. I then wait 2 more days with no communication at all. Call back in to have them tell me some of the pads were not in stock now and that the would be happy to substitute a much cheaper lower performing pad. None of this was relayed to me until I called them. They never not one time reached out to me. Don’t do it to yourself buy somewhere else that communicates. "

No communication/Super Slow

"Ordered a set of brakes online on a Sunday. Today is Thursday, still no email regarding my tracking information etc. had to call in to get an update and there was none. Was told I would be notified once they were shipped . Asked for a refund and that process is just as vague. We’ll see just how long the refund process takes. Based on prior reviews, I know it won’t be soon. Could’ve had the brakes delivered by today if I would’ve just gone with Tire Rack instead."

Horrible company

"I have nothing positive to say about this company, after a number of delays countless excuses, phone calls, unanswered emails to their customer service, trying to get in touch with this imaginary guy (John) that told me to ask specifically for him, when in reality he’s either never there, unavailable, or just doesn’t exist! The customer service is a joke, cannot get an answer to save your life, their communication is non existent, their inventory system is lacking, this coming Monday I will cancel my order and demand a full refund, or I will report them to PayPal! I wouldn’t use this company again if it was the only one left on Earth that has these parts."

Sometimes you just gotta be patient

"I ordered a sway bar (eibach) from buybrakes.com on 3/17/2021 and it was delivered 4/8/2021. I was wondering why it took so long to get a shipping confirmation so emailed buybrakes. David immediately responded and said it was from Eibach's end and that he will closely monitor this order. Still after days, no confirmation so I replied back to David's email and he promptly responded that he will check in with Eibach.

With covid-19 and what recently happened with the suez canal you just gotta be patient and understanding. I also really appreciate David for getting back to me so promptly as other sites just ignore or don't provide any type of response.

Slow but well priced

"Shipping was slow but the price is right. I do not expect speed like Amazon as I do not pay Buybrakes.com $95.00 a year for that. Free is free I guess. The parts were right as they called me to verify fitment. Good thing as my BMW had multiple options and the website was kinda vague. Nice staff and was glad to be talking to fellow Americans."

Not a good experience

"Ordered EBC rotors that were factory drilled. Received rotors un-drilled. Called and was told after two days of checking that the product listed on there website was not made any longer (product is still listed on website). Was offered a token discount, did not ever cover their shipping cost both ways on the rotors, for a rear set to match the ones they sent me. I asked for a refund. Returned the items as requested, original box, correct labels. Received my credit card statement and no refund. The closing date on my card statement was 30 days after the date of sale. Went on line to see if credit was issues after closing date, no such luck.
So, they advertised a product not available and still are advertising the product. Sent me the incorrect product, made me go through the return procedure and did not issue a refund. I put a dispute in with the credit card company.

"this was my third order for differnt cars and was even able to send more people their way great products and great salesmen they give you what you need . gm says it was not there bad rotors it was my poor driving habits the new cryo rotors and pads were on the truck for 40.000 miles and just had to replace pads only great place to buy and get what you need i will be a life long customer "

"Needed upgraded brakes for my VW Routan. The car has 87,000 miles and was on the 4th set of pads and rotors. Every set of the previous rotors warped. John recommended crossdrilled and slotted rotors to help with the cooling. Unfortunately, the kit that he recommended ships from Chicago (I live in San Diego) and would take a week to deliver by the free ground shipment. Since I needed the brakes right away, John offered better rotors and pads that ship from Los Angeles with 1 day delivery for just $100 more. Received everything as promised. They look and fit great! "

"Horrible Customer Service !!!!!!!


I had to call 6 times before my order shipped over a week after I placed the order. The CSR's kept lying telling me the order had shipped. Only after the 6th day calling for a tracking # did I finally receive one. And they also lied about when the Order shipped telling me it left 5.3 when in fact it left 5.6. I haven't received the order yet but if it comes as listed I'll be very very surprised..

"This was a very disappointing experience. The sales service was good. A person over the phone answered my questions about different rotor and pad manufacturers. The parts were delivered on time, but they shipped the wrong ones. The company acknowledged they made a mistake and said they would exchange them, but first had to 'investigate' the source of the problem. I called repeatedly to check on the status of the return but they stopped calling me back. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company and will sue them in small claims court if I have to. You can't ship the merchandise back to them without an authorization code; this is stated in the fine print on the website. If they won't give you that code you can't return the parts. If you ship the parts without the code they deny the shipment. This is the first time I've been burned on a web purchase; too bad for me the parts were so expensive.
