"I don't normally buy ammunition online, because the cost of shipping almost always negates any savings. But Bulk Ammo actually is priced such that buying from them in bulk does save you money.
Ordered 1,000 rounds of MBI 230 grain FMJ .45 ACP from Bulk Ammo. Combining cost of ammunition and shipping, I saved $50 compared to buying the same ammo at a local store.
Bulk Ammo's website is easier to navigate than some others of it's kind. You can specify a caliber of ammunition you want, then refine your search based on how many rounds you'd like to buy. Some web sites make you search for ammunition by manufacturer, which I am not fond of.
Ordering from Bulk Ammo was simple, delivery was prompt, and they were in contact with me via email from time of order until asking me if I was satisfied with the order a couple of days after it arrived (very satisfied!). Packaging was rock solid, the ammunition was reliable to shoot, of good quality, and the best price on the internet at the time I ordered it. These guys genuinely care about making sure their customers are treated well and are satisfied. Will definately be using them again, and would recommend you give these guys a shot.
