Their return policy states "we will need to collect a restocking fee (can be as high as 30% depending on the product and the manufacturer policies)" They refuse to provide documentation on where they come up with there random percentage up to 30% and refuse to respond to e-mail questions. They will not disclose the percentage before you return it, you have to play roulette with them. The item didn't come from the manafacturer, they had it in stock when I ordered it because I contacted them and checked. So why should I have to pay a Manufacturer's restocking fee when it came from their stock?"

"I placed an order for some water repellent that ended up being damaged in shipping before it even arrived at my house. So FedEx, without notifying me, sent it back to the company. When I contacted the company for a refund or another order of the product I was informed that due to potential additional shipping costs, they have to cancel the order and refund my money. Only catch is, I have to wait at least 8-10 days to get my money upon the conclusion of the "FedEx Damage Claim." Now correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this issue between BuilderDepot and FedEx? So the customer is left without product or money while those two duke it out. Puhhhhhhhhhhhlease, that is just bad business, which in turn means, in my humble opinion, these guys are a bad business. Therefore, I'd make a strong suggestion that anybody considering ordering from Builder Depot don't, their policies suck and they are very customer "unfriendly." Unless of course you are into companies hijacking your money and not giving you your product, then this is the place to go. Otherwise, I'd suggest looking for other retailers to shop with."

Doesn't get much better than this purchase. Has those things that I won't buy without; product, price, fast delivery, and a toll-free customer service number!"
