"You should have some way to shut off the panel beeping once you have talked to the homeowner. At 9:30 at night I was fortunate to reach my son-in-law to come over to change the battery. Otherwise at 83 I would have had to climb a ladder to try to do it myself or listen to the panel noise all night. I know the smoke alarm is important but once you've talked to the homeowner and the smoke alarm itself is chirping, you should be able to shut off the panel alarm."

"We had a sensor set off what appears to be a false alarm. Needless to say it was a jarring experience and appears to have been la sensor issue. I replaced sensor batteries and cleaned the internal parts as I was instructed to do. The agent was, I feel, a bit dismissive with our problem but she did walk me through how to resolve some issues such as how to disable the sensor. I feel there should have been an offer to have a service rep check this out as that would seem to be a better way to bring more peace of mind to our situation, but so far for the past week the sensor has not failed. I was just a little concerned that there was a dismissive feeling for our situation, especially when we were a bit emotionally on edge after the alarm malfunction."

"On this issue the representative was knowledgeable,patience and walk me through what need it to be done. In past experiences the representative would say they would send someone out for a problem and no one would come for example when the panel would not close securely. Problem still not resolved ."

"My original call was actually on a Sunday but I got a recording when I pressed the # for technical support and was told that they only worked on Monday thru Friday?! So I had to call back on Monday to finally speak to a live person!After I explained what type of help I needed....the agent was able to walk me thru it with no problems."

"Sorry I transferred from ADT. Their phone response 24/7 is not just excellent, it was available for tech and other support all night. I dealt with problems for the whole weekend, and I work long medical shifts, so calling at night is my only option for days at a time, when noone answers except if an alarm is triggered."

"No matter how sophisticated an alarm system may be, it is only as good as the person sitting at the console monitoring it. With that being said, we have had 2 alarms in the past year that we did not know if they were real or something else. On both occasions, a Brinks representative was on the line via our control panel within seconds checking on us. The rapid response by the representative had law enforcement in our yard in 3 minutes the first time. The quick response by Brinks and LE was nothing short of impressive. The second time was during a power failure. We quickly realized the issue and had her cancel LE response. Both times we were very impressed with the professionalism of the Brinks representative and how quickly they had help on the way. We are happy Brinks customers!Customer service is outstanding!"

"Well it started with automated system telling me it be around 2 minutes for a representative and waited over 20 min so hung up and called back then I got a rep quickly. Rep was excellent - nice professional and polite. Helped resolve my issue quickly and explained in a easy to understand way how to fix my notifications."
