"BEWARE! Brilliantstore.com is not only deceptive and misleading on its website, but also has terrible customer service. We ordered a battery for a Palm Zire. Not only did they send us a battery that said it was for a different type of Zire, which didn't fit our Palm, but they told us it was our fault! And they wouldn't refund us the shipping for their errors. Our order was correct, but their website is misleading, and their service sucks. You can find much more honest retailers than Brilliantstore."

"I needed to purchase a replacement battery pack for an old Dell laptop that my pup chewed through. I received an order confirmation soon after the purchase and it arrived shortly after that. "I found a replacement battery for my PowerBook on this site advertised for about $40 less than most other online sellers, so the other companies were charging about 50 percent more. I thought this sounded a bit too good to be true, so I searched and found only a few reviews of the company. They seemed to be OK, so I took the gamble.

Well, that was Wednesday. I selected the free shipping option, and lo and behold, the battery arrived THE NEXT DAY: Thursday!! I don't know how they did that. It came by regular US mail.

I conditioned the battery with an overnight charge and a full cycle, followed by another overnight charge. So far so good. It holds about the same charge that my original battery did when I bought the laptop in 2002.

So: great price, amazing service, and product as advertised.

"Very unsatisfactory. Will not do business with this company again. Item ordered was listed as "in stock" but I received this email from the company:
"The item you ordered is currently on back order. The ETA for this item is 1-2 weeks.
Please keep in mind that this is an estimate and the ETA may be subject to change. Your order will ship when it is in stock. Once processed, we will be unable to cancel your order."
After several days of remaining listed as "in stock", and my questioning of why this status had not changed, my order was cancelled by the company. The item was then listed as "out of stock" with a new price and no free shipping as before.

"The product they sent was not the brand advertised on their website, nor did the product match the photo. Instead it was some cheap "Made in China" version that did not work. (It was a USB adapter for an ipod. Sometimes it would be able to transfer a single track about 10 times slower than usual, but mostly it would just give error messages)."

"Good price, and ordering was easy and painless through Google checkout. Email confirmations / notifications and shipping were timely.

One problem occurred when USPS tracking said the package had been delivered, but nobody here in the office had received it. I tried contacting BrilliantStore by phone, but got an answering machine. I left a message for them. I also emailed them. The reply i received later said to resolve it with USPS. I was a bit disappointed that BrilliantStore did not work with me to help track things down. BrilliantStore did not impress me with the costumer service in that regard (no live person to talk to.) After talking with USPS a few times (finding the right person through their menu maze is a pain), the product did find its way to us eventually, and it seems to work fine, so no complaints there.

"The price was good, but unclear about when or whether or not the item shipped. Not way to track order was sent. The website said usually ships within 24 hours, but I never got a confirmation that it shipped or how to track item. I don't know if the person I sent it to got it or not. "

The window kit had an oval opening so I ordered the plastic adaptor kit ($15.95) to fit this oval opening. Instead of receiving the 2 parts I ordered and PAID for, I instead receive just a window kit with a circular opening instead. I receive no plastic adaptor. OK I figure that will be fine I will just use it and it would work, but they owe me a refund on the plastic adaptor kit I NEVER RECEIVED YET PAID FOR. Wrong! This is their response after I bring this issue to there attention:

This is a total load of BS. The "one" kit I received is one their website for $37.95. I ordered 2 parts, one was a window kit for $37.95, the other was the required adaptor for $15.95. Now I receive only 1 item at the $37.95 price with them refusing to refund the $15.95 that I paid for NOTHING. Furthermore, I called multiple times throughout the day and was unable to reach a live person. I had to do all of this correspondence by email.

I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM BRILLIANT STORE NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW. THAT IS UNLESS YOU WANT TO ORDER SOMETHING, RECEIVE SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHICH COSTS LESS AND THEN ARE DENIED A REFUND. JUST RIDICULOUS.

"Very nice service. I ordered two day shipping on a Friday, received a mailing confirmation on a Monday and the package on Wednesday. They did not charge me until the package was delivered, giving me assurance that there was no scam.

Really a great store. Great prices for products. I shopped around for the product on multiple sites and this site had the supply for less than half of what the other sites were asking.

Overall I was very happy with the site, the service and the product.

"I recieved this adaptor in the end of February but this adaptor did not work properly from the day first. I had to bend it many time before I use it. It is three weeks that It has completely dead and not working at all. I had very hard time with this Sattelite toshiba adaptor. Please let me know what you can help me with this?

"I purchased 2 batteries, but only 1 was shipped. I emailed the site and explained what the situation (and provided them with my order #). I received a reply within 24 hours and the other battery was shipped within 2 days. Although my order was not done correctly the first time, it was quickly corrected. I will buy from this store again. It would be nice if all online purchases were handled in the manner this order was."

"The system allowed me to input my military Apo address for Taji Iraq. I receaved a E-mail stating that you couldn't ship to the address. I dont understand why you have the APO option when you can't ship to the military overseas. I looked on 5 other sites and i couldn't find anyone with this item that would ship it to me in Camp Taji, Iraq. to better help your business i would consider if i were you shiping to Soldiers overseas.
