Worst Customer service and Liars

"If you call the claims department and get to talk to Lynn.....cut the phone, she's a professional Liar.Customer service is crap...they never write down your complaints so each time u call....start from zero. When you return an item...expect them to play with you for about 2 month before issuing a cheque.

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE.

"I Ordered all my furniture 2 months before my delivery date requested.
When came the delivery date the delivery guy showed up with less than half my order!!!!
Customer service refused to help. insisted I contact the store I bought from.
When I called the store I was put on hold for 25 minutes.
One of the managers at the Kirkland store spoke to me like crap, was completely ignorant, had no solution to offer.
Also, Last stock of a bench I bought was not included in the delivery, when I called to inquire I was told I had to pick it up.
Nobody told me anything! I'm only getting the rest of my order in 3 weeks!
Horrible customer service, horrible company. Do yourself a favor and do not buy there. (Especially at Kirkland)
Again, HORRIBLE.

Scam on Mattress Warranty

"I bought top line BM mattress back in 2015 with a warranty of 10 yrs ... after 4 yrs mattress started to lose its integrity and started sinking in the middle and which is very uncomfortable to sleep ... so called the customer service for help & they send the technician for measurements ...
this guy came to my house and stole the label from the mattress later I found that I am not eligible for warranty since my mattress is missing label ... and there is nothing they can do to help
( key things to keep in mind here are following:
1. The mattress needs to have the orignal label of B&M
2. The stitching on the mattress is cataloged what that means is each stitching patterns refers to specific year so mattress can be tracked to the year of manufacturing.

I urge everyone who bought a mattress from B&M to call customer service & request a technician for mattress integrity & you will find your mattress label ripped ... so place takes a video of your mattress before you get scammed.

I will take this to small claims court to fight ... if someone else is having similar issues pls message me & we can fight together ...my email: ****@**** ... I am recording all evidence ( calls, paper trail, etc) & will publish this on social media with right approvals as lessons learned.

The Insurance plan is a scam

"They recommended us to get the golden protection plan when we purchased our sofas. When our sofas started to crack and peel we emailed them with the issue, they straight out refused to help us in any way. When we brought the issue to the store manager named Mr.Claude Meilleur. He told us that there was nothing he could do about it. I was have never seen such incompetence and unwillingness to help. While the plan covers cracking, they are telling us that they cannot return this sofa because they do not cover it. This is hugely disappointing and I do not intend to purchase from here again and recommend everyone else to stay away."

Terrible Terrible Terrible

"The same thing happened to me with the leather sofa and the cream! I was told that I was covered from A-Z on the leather and the cream would lengthen the life of my beautiful loveseat. I bought it in June of 2017. So I paid the extra $130, for a total purchase of $2,200. I sent pictures. I have been given the runaround from my salesman, the manager, etc. I am aware of the legal warranty, which the manager admitted I am covered for. They refuse to send someone to actually look at the defective leather and have done nothing to fix this situation. They are now ignoring my emails, as well as the registered letter I sent them almost 2 weeks ago. I have been a loyal customer for so many years and purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture, appliances, etc. This will be the last time I ever spend a dime there.

I cannot believe how I am being treated by this huge store. How little they care, how they do not stand by their products or devoted customers. All they care about is making the sale. But I am not letting them off the hook. If they think that by ignoring me, I will go away, they are mistaken.

The leather continues to crack and I am not even sitting on the defective side! Very upsetting and frustrating.

bad costumer service

"I bought 4 chairs got broken fast and they didn't want to give the guarantee that I pay extra in the begining when I bought it I tried to call them and I had to wait almost 1 hour and then they try to push me off and by the end they didn't want to pay me or change the chairs for no reasons.

3 items = 3 headaches

"If I could give this place zero stars I would..
First thing I bought from them was a king size Simmons bed that on delivery had a huge rip and chunk missing from it and we then were told we would have to wait 11/2 weeks to get a exchange.. fine sometime stuff happens .. now yesterday was moving day, had a couch schedule for delivery and upon delivery couch was missing pieces and once again I was told I’d have to wait a week to have a exchange and that I should get some compensation (ya sure!) after being on the phone for hours ..NOW today was supposed to have my tv delivered to the same address as the couch yesterday but of course B&T amazing delivery team can’t read a address and they brought it to my old address and are telling me once again I’ll have to wait week before I have my stuff... I’ve spent over $4000 in the last 3 months here no financing and they dnt have any respect they just want your money then leave you in the wind .. I won’t be recommending this place to family,friends, or even a enemy!

"I bought a stainless "dosseret" (259$) and here is what happened to me:
1st. The item had 2 prices. In one spot: regular 289$ with 30$ discount and in another spot: regular 259$. We asked the sales rep which one was the real "regular" and he was confused. In a few seconds he took the regular 259$ label and put it in his pocket. We bought it at regular 289$ with 30$ discount.
2nd. I was told that the item was not in stock and they have to order it. I received a call 3 days later confirming that the item arrived and inviting me to pick it up at door #1. While delivering the item, the employee told me that he had this item in stock for months and it's weird that I was asked to return to get it. No comments
3rd. Then I had to return the item (Feb23rd, 2019) because it didn't fit. This is were the horrible customer service experience started. They told me that I have to pay 15% for them to accept the return. I complained to the manager/director, his name is Claude Meilleur. He said that these are the rules and I should have been aware. I told him that the sales rep didn't tell us anything about their return policy but he said I should have read on their website. High arrogance and total dis consideration for us as clients. I found this unacceptable.
Finally he reduced the penalty at 10% (approx 30$) and gave us the advice to buy another product and he will deduct the 30$ from the price of that product. Having no choice, we choose a laundry soap priced at 55.99$ on the shelve, however, on the invoice he priced it at 58.99$. I went back to Mr Meilleur and he reduced the price to 55.99$. Yes, it is horrible and incredible
Watch the prices elsewhere before buying from BM. Ex: a coffee machine (EP3360/14) is priced at 1099$ with 300$ discount. In all other places (La Cafetiere, Amazon.ca etc) you can find it at less than BM discounted price.
When will BM stop thinking that their clients are dump?
I do not wonder why they have the worst reviews, their customer service is really the worst in that industry. I wonder how long they will last in this world of high competition where the clients have so many choices. I am curious to know if the high up managements read the reviews? Will they have the decency to answer them? Anyways, stay away from BM, don't put at risk your time, money and energy. Thank you"

The worst experience

"j'ai acheté six electroménagers de chez Brault et martineau et biensur on était les bienvenues lors de l'achat, un bon accueil, on nous a fait acheter un plan de traitement pour staineless sensé etre garantie a vie ..2 mois apres il commence a se decoller ni Brault ni lautre compagnie naccepte dagir...qq temps apres des taches de rouille apparaissent … RIEN A FAIRE.. ON VA VOIR AVEC LE PLAN DE GARANTIE PROLONGEE...JE SUIS DESOLEE PARCEQUE JAI RECOMMANDEE PLUSIEURS PERSONNES… "

Fake Guarantee

"We got some 2 leather sofas and paid 220$plus taxes for their **10 year guarantee **with some cream that actually discolored my dark brown leather...and when we called we just got some very bad customer handling saying to call here and there and when things got more serious...they finally sent a guy to look up the damage and after 4 monts still no response..no answer. When we sent a lawyer's registered letter they tried to make my husband a bogus deal..and now no one will respond again...so i think where gonna get some more legal advise cause this is ridiculous..Never Buy there guarantee..its a no,no. They just want sells and money with no responsibility..I hate that store..and never will purchase from them again, and i will advise all my friends and family"

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BRAULT & MARTINEAU

"I bought a new fridge from Brault & Martineau and it was delivered on October 22nd, 2018. The delivery time was after 5pm but at 3pm, the delivery guy called me to ask if I could open the door for him because he needed to finish his work early that day. I had to rush home from work for that. After they brought the fridge up, they asked my younger brother who was at home alone at that time to sign the confirm paper for no damage on the product and home. By that time, I came home from work and they were about to leave. I told them the job was not done yet because they must take my old fridge with them. They did not want to do so and we got into an argument. I told them that this was the agreement between Brault&Martineau and me and if you do not take my old fridge with you then you have to take the new fridge back with you also. They finally took the old fridge after talking with their boss, I guess. But on the way out, they broke the light switches and door buzzers of my house and my neighbors (we share the same stairway). I came to the store and called to customer service to report the damage and they said they would fix it. I have been waiting and calling and sending emails with pictures of the damage and one day, the delivery company Ovation logistics sent me a paper saying they refused to pay because I signed the paper for no damage. I called as well as went back to the store and they just simply told me that the case is closed and they cannot do anything. They suggested me to do legal if I want. It has been 4 months from October 22nd and now February 19th, 2019. I have been wasting my time and energy for this irresponsible and horrible service. I feel cheated and betrayed by this this company. I came to the store and called to customer service almost every week and they said the head office would call me back but they never did. I felt very bad when I see my neighbor every day because I told them that we are still waiting for Brault&Martineau to fix their door buzzer and the light switches. Now they just said they closed the case. They don't care at all. I bought a stove, a bed, a fridge from them and see the way they treated their customers. "

Pire service à la clientèle que j'ai reçu de toute ma vie

"L'histoire courte, on m'a fait perdre mon temps durant 3 semaines (et ça continue) alors que j'ai rélég le tout avec Samsung en moins de 4 jours.

Dans tous les directeurs à qui j'ai parlé, aucun d'entre eux n'a daigné levé le petit doigt pour raviser la situation.

Je n'achèterai plus jamais chez eux et je vous conseille de faire de même.
