"I purchased two copies of the same book by accident, and requested a cancellation for one of the books immediately after purchase. However, they were not quick enough to cancel the transaction and sent the two books anyway. When I returned one of the books and asked for a refund, I didn't receive any response. They don't have a phone number to contact, just an email. Overall, their handling of the situation was awful, and now I have to go through the trouble of disputing the transaction via credit card company."

"Purchased a copy of a aviation technical book thru Books.com from one of their subscribing sellers 4 weeks ago. Book never arrived, seller did not respond to email, Books,com had to contact seller to get authorization to credit my card. Seller claimed book was lost in the mail? Really? after not receiving book on time I searched for replacement on the internet only to find book in question had become a collectible and gone up in price 5X what I had paid the seller originally! My guess, book was never shipped as there was no tracking available, and seller simply sold it to someone else for higher price. Experience and learn is the lesson here."

"I purchased a used textbook from bookstore.com. I received it today and it is in HORRIBLE condition. This textbook which is actually a workbook had almost all the pages written and scribbled on. I don't know why they would resell this. I will never do business with them again!"
