It was sent USPS Media Mail and
the postman apparently put the lockbox key in the wrong mailbox. A kleptomaniac neighbor got my
textbook and never returned it.
Bookpool sent me a replacement copy of the book with UPS Overnight shipment. I am very grateful of Bookpool for setting the transaction straight. I had a sinking feeling I was s*** out of luck when the first delivery didn't show up, but Bookpool didn't let it go that way. Bookpool takes care of its customers. You can trust them.

Follow-up [10/9/2002]: The second book order was also extremely impressive. Again the shipping was same day as order, and it arrived in 2 days in Norwalk, CT by UPS Ground. They sent the book wonderfully packaged in a box, with anti-shock material inside. The book arrived in perfect condition again.
Those of you who feel intimidated by not seeing their 1-800 number, don't be! They use e-mail for customer service (****@****) so they can minimize costs and offer those great prices.

"I placed two orders with BookPool.com in the same general time period. All products were in stock, and expected to ship soon. One week later, one of my orders shipped, the other had products suddenly not in stock. One week to ship? and products not in stock? My e-mail inquiries were not responded to ever, and I canceled my second order after 3 days. No phone # is provided, and they claim that e-mails are responded to usually within 24 hours. Not in my case.
Their prices looked good, but as a college student 3 weeks into classes, I would've rather paid more and had the books I *really need* on time."
