"Starting about 9PM with our daughter on the phone we both attempted to book the same trip to Cancun. After completing the all the forms we both hit enter and my daughters came back and ours just had a spinning arrow, then it went to a dead white screen. Could not go backward or forward. No idea if the transaction completed, what had happened, or if the credit card was charged. Contacted the Bookit toll free number and after some discussion we were advised to retry it. Spent another twenty minutes completing all the forms and hit enter again with the same result. Contacted the Bookit toll free number again and was advised to retry it again with the same horrible results. Each time we tried, the price increased. After six attempts found the Bookit customer service had closed so gave up. Had my daughter try again from her home on her computer and again dismal failure.
The following day was able to book the trip but again the price increased. Contacted Bookit customer service and was told they could not do any thing about the price increase that is was the airlines fault. Again I expressed the problem was not with the airline but with their web site. If the seats were not available then we should have been advised with some kind of an error and not a dead screen.
Very very very disappointed as each attempt was just a waste of time."
